Demand exceeds supply. Capacity is constrained not by interest, but by capital. And yet, when pitched to certain investors, the response was hesitation. Not because the numbers were broken. Not because the market didn’t exist. Because the mission felt… secondary. That’s the tension. At the macroeconomic level, capital chases return. That’s rational. That’s expected. But when capital becomes disconnected from human impact, we risk underfunding the very technologies that redefine quality of life. A robotic arm for an amputee is not just a product. It’s independence. It’s dignity. It’s economic participation restored. Healthcare innovation and robotics are not separate theses. They are converging forces shaping the next era of productivity and human potential. As technology leaders, we have a responsibility beyond margins. We must articulate value in both financial and societal terms. We must translate mission into market logic. And we must build ecosystems where capital understands that impact and return are not mutually exclusive. The future of innovation will not be determined solely by what can be built. It will be determined by what investors choose to believe in. Progress requires funding. Funding requires conviction. Conviction requires values. And values, ultimately, shape markets. #TechnologyLeadership #ImpactInvesting #HealthcareInnovation

They describe the ink, the design, the features. But the best sellers start somewhere else entirely. They ask a question. “Can you write your name down for me?” Suddenly the conversation changes. It’s no longer about the pen, it’s about the need. That’s the real lesson. In business, people rarely buy products. They buy outcomes. They’re not buying a coat, they’re buying warmth. They’re not buying a fitness program, they’re buying confidence. At the executive level, this mindset extends far beyond sales. Marketing shapes the story. Operations perfects the craft. Revenue translates value into growth. When those functions align around one principle, understanding what the customer truly needs, organizations move from selling products to delivering transformation. The most effective leaders don’t start with the solution. They start with the right questions. #Leadership #CustomerCentricity #BusinessStrategy

We conducted the inaugural launch of our new daylong SELI SE Leadership workshop with a fast growth Silicon Valley unicorn, super-powered by the book SE Leadership. It allowed us an unprecedented way to baseline and prepare, and focus on the implementation or the "how" of driving both vision and output versus a typical training. Its a new era of productivity in enablement, and I couldn't be more humbled and excited! After the workshop I strolled around downtown SF, admiring the offices and activity, stirring great memories of moments being part of some of the world's greatest technology companies. Salesforce, Mixpanel, Algolia, Box, mParticle, Skyflow, Siebel, Oracle.. And seeing the new great companies being born and thriving in the era of AI - what an incredible energy center. Excited about the future, and much more to come! Justin McManus Shannon Hogue Lisa Larter Marc Benioff #SalesEngineering #SELeadership #SELI #V2MOM #Leadership #presales

I started my journey with years of focus on the customer, but no experience in the #PEO space. With patient mentors like Mark Soelberg, Tim McReavy, Doug Hartley, Barry Savage, Curtis Denton, Chad S., Victoria Kendall, and Alexandra Blanco and many others I was able to find success and even make it to President's Club! I have nothing but respect and admiration for the incredible work that my Vensure Employer Solutions colleagues and leaders are doing and I intend to continue to direct business to them every day! As for me, I am finally fulfilling a life-long dream to work for a company whose mission it is to inspire hope and meaningful impact through travel and discovery across our small planet. National Geographic and Lindblad Expeditions have set the standard for discovery for more than 50 years, sailing to captivating places near and far in pursuit of discovery, bringing along adventurous travelers to share in the thrill of uncovering the world’s wild secrets. I am thrilled to be a part of this remarkable organization as the Senior Manager of Logistics. Sometimes we must explore in order to find our way home. I consider myself lucky and blessed to have the support of family and friends who believe this too.

“I had the opportunity to promote Jeff to the Sales Manager role during my tenure as the VP of Sales for the Northwest Region. Jeff was a consistent performer as a rep and well-respected by his peers which made the decision to promote him an easy one. We sponsored Jeff to spend two weeks at the Center for Creative Leadership to hone his skills as a future leader of our company. Jeff took on the challenges of our high speed environment, was able to wear the multiple hats to continually produce positive results and kept his team motivated. His energy and enthusiasm is contagious and was obvious to not only his direct reports but by the accounts on which he called. I strongly recommend Jeff to any company looking for a leader to take a team to the next level.”
