Eye-tracking studies show their attention lands in a predictable pattern: - Name and current title - Current company and dates - Previous role, company, and dates - Education - Section headers - to judge if the rest is worth reading In 6 seconds, no one is reading prose. They're scanning structure. A few things that actually move the needle in that window: → Put your strongest signal at the very top - a title, not an "Objective" → Use clear, consistent section headers so the eye doesn't snag → Front-load bullets with outcomes, not duties → Keep dates aligned and easy to parse - gaps get noticed either way The resume that gets read isn't the one with the best words. Posting a Claude-banger over and over again, damages trust and causes people to disengage. LinkedIn has 17,500 employees and X has 3,000 employees. X has managed its slop problem to 1 in 3 posts. Will LinkedIn ever clean up the feed here? Or is LinkedIn the first example of dead internet theory where the only things left are ads and AI generated “cheat sheets” I hope at least one of the 17,000 employees at LinkedIn are looking at this and not just how to squeeze more monetization out of the feed. Otherwise Elon will win and that’s a world nobody wants.

Three decades ago I took a sidecar ride on the H-1 B Visa, as an H-4 spouse visa holder, the first step in my immigration journey. Although the H-1 B program had been created earlier, ir was in the 1990s that it really became news, when the program became the actual information superhighway that contributed to the rapid globalization of the software industry, which in turn, led to important developments for both India and the USA. It certainly turbo-charged Indian emigration to the USA. Recommendation: bowl first (confidence: medium-high).” 🏏 Batting plans by phase “Powerplay scores of 45–55 with minimal wicket loss correlate more strongly with wins than aggressive starts above 60.” “Death overs contribute disproportionately to winning totals — target 45+ runs in the final 5 overs.” 🎯 Bowling strategies “Middle overs show elevated wicket probability. Introduce strike bowlers between overs 7–14 rather than saving them only for the death.” “Death-overs economy exceeds 9.0 historically — missed yorkers are consistently punished.” ⚠️ Risk signals “Totals below 165 are frequently chased successfully at this venue. Databricks Lakeflow - Do we still need Azure Data Factory (ADF) in a Databricks world Traditionally, Azure Data Factory played the role of orchestrator, while Databricks focused on transformations. But the landscape is evolving fast. With advancements like Databricks Lakeflow Connect and Lakeflow Jobs, Databricks now supports ingestion, orchestration, event-driven pipelines and even complex control flows (all within a single platform). Microsoft is now focusing towards Fabric Data Factory. This means they are putting more effort into improving and adding new features there. The older tool, Azure Data Factory (ADF) is still working fine and will continue to be supported. But it is no longer the main place where new updates and innovations will happen. So what does this mean for modern data platforms? * If you are building a Databricks centric architecture, it is time to rethink ADF’s role. * Use ADF selectively and mainly for connectors not yet available in Databricks. * Let Databricks handle orchestration to unify pipeline logic, monitoring and CI/CD.
