Events like these are a great reminder that while we work hard together every day, it's just as important to take time to connect, celebrate, and have some fun as a team. I honestly didn’t think this little company in Provo Utah would have such a big impact on my life and career. The people are the key! I wont be able to thank everyone, but I have been blessed with so many incredible friends, colleagues and clients. Ryan, Josh Ellars for hiring and supporting me. Bryce Latimer, and Tyman Weiler for this early days trying to figure out Qualtrics fit in Government. Spencer S., Nathan Walker for believing in me and supporting me through everything! Ben Goodro, MBA and Matt Chong for the opportunity to grow as a leader. I’m so grateful for my squad! Tim Egan, Mychal Graham, Hailey (Murri) Smith, Erica Jarosz, Ryan Jolley, Sharath(Shay) Bhat Team North! I love this crew. We have had some incredible memories together. Some amazing leaders and colleagues. Thank you for your support and friendship! Ivan Flores liked thisIvan Flores liked thisTwelve years ago, when I started at Qualtrics, there were 396 employees. Yesterday when I left, there were ~6,300 of us. Here’s what that looked like for me from the inside: • 6 different job titles • 3 divisions • 8 managers • 7 laptops cycled through • 22 red-eye flights • At least 40 all-nighters • An 11-hour day on my last day I genuinely believe Qualtrics is the best data collection software ever built. Full stop. It rocks. I’m grateful to the many people I worked for and with at Q. To the hundreds who were kind, smart, transparent, all‑in, customer‑obsessed, one‑team, and scrappy, all at once: thank you for being my friends and colleagues. From you, I learned the instinct to ask a better, deeper question, the hygeine of trusting the data, and a deep respect for the craft of listening to customers. I left Qualtrics because my book of work felt complete. Onward.

Ivan Flores liked thisIvan Flores liked thisNo burying the lede here: today is my last day at Qualtrics (I know... Even I thought I’d never leave). While 12 years can’t be summarized in a LinkedIn post, I can’t NOT say anything. I am beyond grateful for my time at Qualtrics. It sounds silly, but it literally changed my life. After all, I’ve lived my entire adult life thus far while at Qualtrics. I graduated college, had my kids, bought a house, gained life-long friends, learned how to work and lead, and grew immensely as a person in this time. Qualtrics also gave me every opportunity to try new things and find my path. From customer-facing market research delivery to sales enablement and now communications, their trust in me and their mobility programs enabled me to constantly develop and identify what I truly want to be when I grow up. Through it all, I also had SO MUCH FUN. Thank you to everyone at Qualtrics who trusted me, partnered with me, and advocated for me over the years. It’s truly been an unforgettable journey. (Spoiler alert for a future post for anyone who’s a little nosy like I am: I’m off to Zillow to help build and scale their all-employee communications programs and could not be more excited!)

Ivan Flores reacted on thisIvan Flores reacted on thisAfter an incredible chapter, I’m officially stepping into a sabbatical. Grateful doesn’t fully capture how I feel about the people I’ve worked with, learned from, and built alongside. I’ve been lucky to be part of teams that push, support, and elevate each other—and I don’t take that lightly. This next season is about time. We’re choosing to be intentional with it—prioritizing our family while our kids are young. Traveling, learning, and creating experiences over the next few years that (hopefully) stay with them for life. I’m a big believer that different phases of life offer different opportunities, and this feels like one we shouldn’t miss. Work will be there later. I’m not looking for a role right now. But I am always up for connecting—talking shop, sharing ideas, or just staying close to great people. If we’ve worked together or crossed paths, don’t be a stranger. I’d genuinely love to stay in contact. ✌🏼
