“Heather worked for Heller Pacific as a marketing consultant leading our marketing, advertising, social media, and event planning efforts for the MARRS Midtown Sacramento mixed use property. With a limited budget and resources Heather was creative and innovative in driving increased exposure and activity to the property. She initiated and followed through on a number of events that were very well received by both the community and the building's tenants while producing increased exposure for the property. Heather would be an asset to any company's marketing and event planning team.”

The mission of the students’ campaign was to educate the community, increase the number of people on California’s organ and tissue donor registry and ultimately save lives.
Creating and implementing a campaign dealing with such a controversial and personal topic challenged the students both mentally and personally. Throughout the campaign the team became more informed and incredibly passionate about the unique opportunity to save lives. They took this energy and dedication and inspired hundreds of Sacramento State students, faculty, staff and community members to become Organ and Tissue Donors. Through our campaign efforts they were able to register 545 individuals.
