I've already seen the show, LOVED it, and immediately recognized the creative when it appeared in front of me. What struck me was how relevant the placement felt. I'm someone who lives in Brooklyn, spends a lot of time in the city, and regularly seeks out theater, art, and cultural events. While the ad didn't need to convince me to attend (unless I follow through on seeing it a second time...), it absolutely reached the right audience. We often think about targeting in terms of clicks, conversions, and attribution. But moments like this are a reminder that great media planning starts with understanding who is likely to care about the message and where they'll be. In this case, the combination of a strong creative, a premium urban panel, and a culturally relevant audience made perfect sense. It felt less like an interruption and more like a natural part of the environment. A small moment, but a good reminder of the power of thoughtful DOOH planning. The biggest shoutout to Nolan Boggess and the whole cast & crew at St. Ann's Warehouse who brought this fabulous production to life. Hannah Gardner reposted thisHannah Gardner reposted thisLife update + hiring update = Parental Leave Cover 👶 🤯 On the personal front, I'll be heading out on parental leave at the start of the summer to welcome our second and take time to bond with her and transition into a four-human household (hence exploding head emoji). I'll elaborate on how the team at Clare V. has been throughout this pregnancy at a later date - but spoiler alert... pretty awesome. On the professional front, I'm looking for a stellar contractor to come on and support the inimitable Katie Hatch for the 3 months I'll be out. We're hoping for this person to come in and support our acquisition efforts across key channels like... 🖥️ paid digital media 📺 CTV 🗞️ Direct Mail 📣 Affiliate They'll need to be an in-the-weeds operator that's comfortable working closely with creative. We'll also be looking for this person to look under the hood and help us work on key projects like influencer affiliate, cross-channel attribution modeling, and new-channel testing and analysis. Our hope in writing this JD was to elevate it beyond just 'stop-gap operational support' and make it more substantive so that if you're looking for your next role, but not finding the perfect fit, we can provide a clear scope that results in both marketable experience as well as 'case study'-style results at the conclusion of the contract. This AMAZING radio station enhanced my love for entertainment when I attended SU & I made some life long friends - so it was fitting to return! The rising fifth grader made her Broadway debut in Joe Turner's Come and Gone, sharing the stage with Taraji P. Henson and Cedric the Entertainer while appearing in nearly 40 performances. Every so often one comes up that looks perfect: right level, right scope, salary at the top of the range. The kind that makes you actually try. So you do it properly: tailor the CV, write a real cover letter, fill in every field of the application form. Then, a few hours later, an email: before the "real" interview, please complete a quick screening with an AI agent. That's where I stop. And honestly, it annoys me. Part of me wonders if I've just spent my time training their model. Another part wonders if it's genuinely a new hiring process they're testing. Either way, one question stays with me: If I sent an AI agent to every screening call instead of showing up myself, would I get considered? Would I get hired? If the answer is no, I'm not sure why it should work the other way round.

Hannah Gardner liked thisHannah Gardner liked thisFive months ago, I left my job and boarded a flight to New Zealand. I had nothing but a suitcase, a camera, and a loose itinerary. What followed was the adventure of a lifetime. I road-tripped solo through landscapes I'd been dreaming about since I was a kid. I hiked countless mountains, crossed volcanic terrain and glaciers, and watched sunrises from peaks above the clouds. Along the way, I shared meals with strangers who became friends, swapped stories with travelers from every corner of the world, and had an open mind for whatever would come next. After New Zealand, I kept going… to Fiji, Australia, Bali, Japan, and South Korea, with my camera in hand, capturing the places, wildlife and people I encountered along the way. From hearing someone's life story after meeting them only an hour earlier on a hike to listening to locals share what made their home special, I was reminded again and again that the most meaningful experiences aren't found in the landscapes, but in the people you meet in those places. A fellow solo traveler from Spain who quit her job to see the world. A Korean American reconnecting with his family's roots. An 86-year-old who found healing in the mountains after losing her husband in a skiing accident years earlier, to name just a few. Those conversations reminded me why I fell in love with storytelling in the first place. With more than a decade of experience working in journalism, documentary filmmaking, and corporate video production, it was this trip that solidified my belief that the stories people remember are the ones that feel honest, personal and relatable. It’s what connects us and moves us. And that's what I've built my career around. Earlier this year, I launched Shira Stoll Productions, where I partner with brands, companies, nonprofits, and news organizations to tell the stories behind the work they do. Whether it's a customer whose life has been changed, an employee with a unique perspective, or a community making an impact, I create documentary-style content that help organizations connect with people through authentic experiences. And on top of all of that, this: - Went onsale with Disruption, a new play starting at Signature this month. - Got Little Island's summer season on sale, and selling like mad. - Supported 2:22 A Ghost Story going onsale at the Lortel - one of our closest connected collaborators. - Kicked off the newest season at Riverside Studios in the UK with the onsale of Affluenza - and more to come! - Helped launch a new summer offering in London - Electric Summer at Battersea station - come for the roller rink, stay for the pétanque! - Launched a brand new festival downtown: Matchbook Fest will run for 5 weeks, and the lineup reads like someone won a bet: Bonnie Milligan, Alex Moffat, Zack Zadek, Steve Burns(!), Andrew Lippa, Joe Iconis. All this, Powered by TodayTix 🚀 Stealing, if I may, from Matchbook Fest's own pre-purchase messaging - some projects are polished, some feel like early readings and workshops and 1-night experiments from a technical perspective. But each one has been a chance to build and optimize in real time. Some of what my team builds is a finished, load-bearing system. Some of it is scrappy in the immediate sense, but has universal implications. Both count. I love both. Some days are better than others, but boy am I having fun.
