Hannah Conrad reposted thisHannah Conrad reposted thisLast-click only tells part of the story. The Halo Report from WorkMagic found that 31.7% of Pinterest-driven incremental sales happen beyond the advertiser’s own website—sales that never show up in last-click reporting. To see the true impact of your Pinterest campaigns, you need to see performance across channels, not just on your own site. Hannah Conrad reposted thisHannah Conrad reposted thisAt Cannes Lions this week, advertisers joined Pinterest and partners AppsFlyer, Instacart, LTK and Zillow for a beachside happy hour. We dug into what's next in performance marketing, shopping and creator discovery. Thank you to everyone who joined us IRL and helped make this year’s Cannes unforgettable!

Hannah Conrad shared thisChatGPT2.0 can create variations of your top-performing creatives. I pulled CeraVe's current creatives from the Google Ad Library, put them into ChatGPT, and asked it to generate versions. This is what it created in seconds from a single. Are we speeding up ideation, or does it lower the bar for originality? Imagine what ChatGPT2.0 can create with a brand guide, more creative direction, and the copy that should be included.

Hannah Conrad posted thisThe new product placement isn't in commercials or even during your show/movie. It's at the post-game podium. For years, sponsored products lived quietly in the background of press conferences, a logo here, a bottle there. Now, athletes are turning those placements into live content. Recently, Anthony Edwards and Karl-Anthony Towns have garnered viral attention from their post-playoff game interviews, where they were seen drinking and reacting to trying a Gatorade. Now the internet is in a frenzy. Was it scripted? Was it real? If Gatorade endorses Ant and Kat, does that need to be disclosed, or is Gatorade’s partnership with the NBA good enough?

Hannah Conrad shared thisI went to Coachella for the first time. Last weekend, almost 100 people were arrested at the festival. I was not one of them. However, as someone with legal marketing experience, I kept thinking that California criminal defense firms had completely missed a great opportunity. Brands spent tens of millions on billboards, brand activations, and influencer trips. Meanwhile, one billboard on the I-10 from Palm Springs to LA could've generated dozens of fully attributable leads across three weekends.

Hannah Conrad shared thisContent recommendations that you'll want to save. On topic authority: I met with Michael Levitz, who showed me what he and Robin Tully are building at Forecast.ing, a tool for predicting and researching emerging topics. I asked how much content a brand needs to publish to become a leading voice on a topic. His answer: 16 pieces around a single content pillar, published all at once. On engine optimization: In Webflow's "Building Your Narrative" webinar, they shared that adding a table of contents to their blog drove a 40% lift in AEO traffic and 20% in SEO. On AEO: HubSpot just launched its new AEO feature alongside a guide with the suggestion to put your core answer in the first 40–60 words, then add detail. Which of these is your team already doing?

Hannah Conrad shared thisI just hit my message limit on Claude with a Pro account, so I checked the cost of upgrading to the Max plan. It turns out that the Max plan is almost six times more expensive than Pro. That feels like a pretty steep jump, especially compared to typical pricing structures in tech: Basic → Mid-tier: usually a 30–50% increase Mid-tier → Premium: often 100%+ increase If you're on the Max plan, do you think the 488% increase from $17 to $100+ is worth it?

Hannah Conrad shared thisMost people are using an AI tool they've outgrown. Not because it's the best, but because it was the first. If you've been curious about Claude, now's a good time to try it. They just added a feature that makes switching simple: Settings → Capabilities → Import Memory from Other AI Providers That way your context comes with you. Also worth turning on: "Generate memory from chat history." It makes Claude noticeably more useful over time. And the numbers back it up, the "QuitGPT" movement has been real. According to Forbes, Claude saw a 1,487% spike in sessions by early March 2026 with over one million new users signing up in a single day.

Hannah Conrad liked thisHannah Conrad liked thisI still can't quite believe I'm typing this. We're going to SEPHORA. North America. When we started Ruka, hair extensions weren't part of the mainstream beauty conversation. But this was always about more. I wanted to build a fibre technology company. When retailers told us we could only launch online, I said absolutely not. Our customers need to experience hair in person, with a premium experience. Many said no. Now, for the first time in 20 years, we're relaunching a whole new category in Sephora. We'll be the ONLY hair extensions brand in Sephora, bringing bio-engineered fibres everywhere from Harlem to Times Square. The first ever braiding hair in Sephora. This is the biggest moment in our history, because accessibility has always been fundamental to the story. We invested in the R&D to reach millions and now we can. But as we know, the hard work begins here. Retail isn't a saving grace. It's an opportunity to keep building bigger. To everyone who's lifted us up, even when we haven't deserved it [especially when we haven't deserved it]: thank you. Shout out everyone who's made it possible - that list is very, very long but there are some special mentions I'll be sharing in a few posts over the next couple of weeks. Please keep helping us build this. #Rukaphora [don't care if the hashtag is cringey I love it lol]

🛠️ The AI Content Quality Check That Catches Generic Output You've generated content with AI. How do you know if it's good enough to publish? This simple quality check prevents most common AI content problems: THE COMPETITOR TEST: Could one of your competitors publish this exact same piece of content? If yes, it's too generic. If no, it might be good enough. This test works because it forces you to identify what's unique. Generic AI content lacks: - Proprietary data or insights - Company-specific examples - Unique perspective or positioning - Authentic brand voice - Expert knowledge that comes from experience The fix isn't better AI prompts. It's human injection of the elements that make content uniquely yours. That's the 30% in the 70-30 rule discussed earlier. Practical application: - Generate the content with AI - Read it and ask: Could a competitor publish this? - If yes, add specific elements only you can provide - Repeat the test until the answer is no This takes 10-15 minutes per piece but transforms generic content into differentiated content. It's the quality control step most teams skip, then wonder why their AI content doesn't perform. The companies winning with AI content have institutionalized this check. No content publishes until it passes the competitor test. Simple but effective. Source - https://lnkd.in/dS59hPCZ

The ChatGPT Marketer

Most marketers jump straight into prompting. Smart marketers do the pre-work first so their prompts hit harder and waste less time. Here are 6 ways ChatGPT can help you with pre-work: 1. Clarify the objective Prompt: I’m exploring a marketing task but I’m not ready to execute. Act as my strategist and help me figure out the goal, audience, and constraints. Don’t give me solutions — just ask questions and reflect back what you hear. 2. Identify must-have context Prompt: Before we start this project, help me list the information ChatGPT would need to deliver a strong, on-brief result. Think brand, audience, product, past results, and constraints. 3. Explore angles without locking in Prompt: I’m still shaping my thinking on this campaign. Let’s brainstorm possible directions, but no polished copy — just bullet points of potential approaches I could explore further offline. 4. Map the decision space Prompt: Help me map out the key decisions I need to make before I brief you. Give me categories and options, but don’t recommend one yet. I’ll go think about these before we proceed. 5. Build the skeleton of the brief Prompt: Let’s draft a placeholder brief together. You ask me for each section (goal, audience, assets, constraints) and I’ll fill it in. Then we’ll leave it incomplete so I can refine it before execution. 6. Surface risks and blind spots Prompt: Before I brief you, help me list potential risks, pitfalls, or blind spots in this project. Focus on what could derail the work or weaken the output, based on what you know so far. Don’t suggest fixes yet — just surface the issues so I can plan for them. — ♻️ Found this useful?
