Haley Karr shared thisHaley Karr shared thisApplying for Lozier’s Sponsorship for the Trades program was an easy decision for Elijah Aristy. “Out of high school, I was thinking, ‘Okay, I need scholarships, scholarships, scholarships,’” Aristy said. “When I found out this program would pay for school and all that, I kind of jumped on it, because I’m like, ‘If I can do some kind of trade and they’ll pay for my school, that’ll be the way to go.’” You read that right: The Lozier Sponsorship for the Trades program completely covers your two-year college expenses toward a degree in Precision Tooling or Electrical Mechanical at Metropolitan Community College. That includes textbooks and tools too. Plus, participants will receive a monthly stipend or a paid apprenticeship at Lozier, putting those classroom skills to work at one of the nation’s best manufacturing companies. “Depending on what classes you’re taking, you tell your bosses what you did in class that day, and then at work you can do what you did at school,” Aristy said. ”It just kind of clicks, and you’ll get work experience on the same things you did at class.” After graduation, participants like Aristy receive a full-time position at Lozier in the Maintenance or Tool & Die departments, setting up a path to true career success. “I just want to continue to work my way up,” Aristy said. “That’s all you’ve got to be able to do, is just be willing to learn and you’ll go far.” Don’t wait to apply: The application window for the Lozier Sponsorship for the Trades program ends on February 15. I started here in June, 2021, by October of that year, I had already received $5,250, the first part of my reimbursement. At the end of January, 2022, I received another $5,250 which paid off all of my college debt. I’m debt-free, six months into working at Lozier,” Caleb Hoke said. “I’m grateful for it. Lozier has done a lot for me, and I try to pay it forward for them.”

Faulhaber has been with Lozier for seven years, and led the company’s Oracle implementation and systems transformation. Prior to Lozier, Faulhaber had a number of professional experiences in direct marketing, supply chain, change management and ERP implementations having worked for companies including Publishers Clearing House, Bertelsmann and ConAgra Brands. Jeanna holds a BA degree in Economics from Long Island University – C.W. Post Campus. Born and raised in New York, Faulhaber moved to the Midwest 19 years ago and resides in Omaha with her husband, Robert. - Molly Lyons, Chief Revenue Officer at Lozier, leads customer experience, pricing and product management. Lyons has been with Lozier for more than 20 years, holding a number of positions in the areas of Internal Audit, Financial Accounting, Plant Accounting, Pricing, Contracts and Sales. Prior to Lozier, Lyons began her career in public accounting at Deloitte. Lyons holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Creighton University. A Nebraska native, Lyons and her husband, Mike, live in Omaha with their son, Fletch.

No matter how much work I have, no matter the increase in responsibilities you have…..it is so much easier when you have an amazing team. 2. My thoughts as I jogged around the lake were about the weekend and what plans the family and I had, what ideas I had to spend with the kids. 3. After the run, on the cool down walk I started to think: Why I am not thinking about all the things I have to do at work? The answer is Lozier has great core values of people matter and working as a team, and a few more. However my Plant Leadership and HR team work well together and are always there to help. It is easier to concentrate on family and being present in the moment when you find a company who believes in you and works well together. 4. Learn to focus on yourself, and be present in the moment 5. Find a company that invests in you and your goals, but also believes in leadership development and teamwork. 6.
