I'm taking an existing business with little investment to date and growing it, hopefully by a couple multiples. That expectation of growth comes with investment, and I'm going to have a bunch of openings coming up for full stack and front end developers. I am so very disappointed with the Grindr leadership team, as they've implemented a very swift and cruel "RTO" policy, company wide. Looking forward though, please reach out if you have opportunities to work on interesting products and problems with people who value things other than a company's bottom line. I'm looking specifically for backend engineering roles and they must be remote. I am immensely grateful to my coworkers in #GrindrUnited who have remained steadfast in their fight for an equitable workplace that benefits all employees. Grindr was such a special place to work and I hope that one day it can again be that.

First, thanks to colleagues, co-authors, family, and friends for all the support and guidance you have given me over the years. Second, thanks to my letter writers for supporting and believing in me. Finally, a special thanks to my wife who went through thick and thin with me. So, what will be different now? Not much. This weekend, I will rest. Next week, I can’t wait to get back into research!

Hai Zhou reacted on thisI cannot express how proud I am today of my EverTrue family. 🥰 When I walked into EverTrue (well actually it was Techstars) in 2011 as the 5th employee (and only woman for the first two years, an important footnote 💪), I had no idea that the company, the people, the experience would shape so much of who I am both personally and professionally. We learned so much together, we laughed so hard together, and we cried too (love a good work cry). Starting EverTrue, it was literally a dream that someday there would be other employees, someday we would work with a big college, someday we would have our own office, someday we would have a phone line! ☎️ And here we are today! Thank you Brent Grinna for convincing me to take the ride with you. I have believed in you as much as you have believed in me. Thank you Jesse Bardo for seeing the start-up junkie in me and being the best therapist I have ever had. And thank you to the so many members of the team who made the journey so special-- proud of you all- Mike Palladino, Drew Burch, PJ Gray, Pin-Bo Tsai, Eric Carlstrom, Niall Hawkins, Myles Lane, Meggie Herrlinger, Meghan Jaeger, Caroline Scott, Erik Rapp, Molly Hall, Mike Nagel, Eben Pingree, James Newman, Mat Budelman, Laura Austin, Meredith Nelson, Chelsea Leavitt, Joanna Vinick, David Ohayon, Kathryn Crimmins, Hai Zhou, Ayush Sangani -- there are so many more-- you know I ❤️ you all!
