In front of me were two paths — go back to the familiar, or bet on myself and build something from scratch. The catch? My twins heading to college. Real bills. Real fear. My dad was visiting us in the US at the time. So I sat down with him — not a phone call, not a text — face to face, the way conversations that actually change your life tend to happen. I laid out every reason it didn't make sense. The timing. The risk. The uncertainty. And then I asked the question that was really keeping me up at night: "How do I pay for college if this doesn't work?" He listened. Then, without hesitation he said: “Once in a while, we have to take a risk in life.” And then — when I still pushed back on the bills, the timing, the fear — he said something that told me exactly what he's made of: “Don't worry about it. You do your part. It will all work out.” No spreadsheet. No five-year plan. Just unshakeable belief — in me — when I didn't fully have it in myself. That was enough. Three years later, The Digital Loom is real. Growing. And I'm proud I took that leap. But what I've learned since then is that his belief wasn't just words. He showed up. He helped me navigate registering our India subsidiary — anyone who's done this knows how complex and grueling that process can be. He did it quietly, methodically. And he is still my first call when I don't know what to do next. The best business advice I ever received didn't come from a book, a mentor, or an MBA program. It came from my father, sitting across from me in my home, when I was terrified. Some people invest money. My dad invested belief. Dad — this one's for you. You didn't just believe in me. Human error is behind most of these incidents (sometimes up to 80%), it’s a problem that’s been stubbornly hard to solve—especially in multi-vendor environments. We recently had the chance to collaborate with ServiceNow's AI Control Tower team to tackle this problem. We focused on a multi-agent, standards-based approach to network change verification—coordinating across vendors and systems to reduce risk before changes are deployed. Gyana Dash liked thisGyana Dash liked thisPlot twist: after years of explaining that Cisco is not Sysco, I finally met someone who spends their time explaining that Sysco is not Cisco. I recently had the chance to meet Aayush Bhatnagar, Global Head of Customer Experience at Sysco, and we immediately discovered we have more in common than our company names. If you work at Cisco, you probably know the conversation: "Cisco?" "Cisco with a C. The technology company." As it turns out, Aayush and the Sysco team spend a fair amount of time having the mirror-image version of that discussion. After years of clarifying the difference between Cisco and Sysco, it was fun to finally meet someone on the receiving end of the same confusion. The conversation quickly moved beyond spelling. We talked about customer experience, leadership, and what it takes to build trust at scale. Different industries, same focus: earning loyalty by solving real problems for customers. Glad our paths crossed, Aayush. Here's to networking—the technology kind and the human kind. 😄

2) Organizing Climate Literacy & Awareness Activities: Immediate goal is to start conferences, local community events and road shows involving schools and youth.

3) Restoring Natural Resources for Natural Carbon Capture: The major cause for Deforestation in the USA is grazing land captured by the animal product industry. Forestation has gone down from 60% to 38%. We need to bring back natural capture, working with other organizations working in this area.
4) Encouraging a Sustainable Lifestyle & Carbon Offset: Everything we do in our daily life matters which impacts the Carbon footprint. I am working on a way to alert and recommend to reduce personal carbon footprint. -
