Think Beyond Salesforce Flow "Can you build a Flow for this?" Years ago, my instinct was usually “Yes, absolutely!” Today, I pause with purpose because experience (and a systems thinking course I completed through Western Governors University) taught me to think differently. Systems thinking asks deeper questions: ► What problem is this really solving? ► Where else does this data connect? ► Who or what will be affected directly or indirectly? In complex systems, solving a local issue can introduce global complexity. Now I: ► Create a flow chart before making changes ► Design with the whole system in view, not just the trigger ► Determine how this Flow will impact users, data, and downstream systems Salesforce isn’t just a database. It’s a dynamic, evolving system with feedback loops, dependencies, and human behavior all woven in. Build like everything is connected…because it is. ► How has systems thinking influenced your approach to Salesforce?
