The program is part of a collaborative effort to create winning companies while retaining and developing entrepreneurial talent in the state of Arizona.
Venture Ready begins by partnering a company with an Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR). The EIR will coach the company through five panels that focus on intake, marketing, finance, dry run and final/graduation. In each, an entrepreneur pitches its business model to a team of CEOs and professional experts and will receive specific points of feedback that identify gaps and strategic opportunities.
In partnership with statewide organizations and companies, Venture Ready is a connective resource for the Arizona startup community to strengthen Arizona’s innovation ecosystem – ensuring small businesses can expand through all stages of development. -

Through TGen Ambassadors, we look to a new generation of innovators to take up the mantle of leadership and propel that vision forward into early detection of disease. An invitation-only network of working professionals and business leaders, TGen Ambassadors make an annual, individual gift of $1,000, but their commitment goes beyond philanthropy to advocacy within their networks and beyond. -

SVP Arizona cultivates effective philanthropists, strengthens nonprofits, and invests in collaborative solutions – building powerful relationships to tackle our community’s social challenges. An international network of engaged philanthropists who invest time, money, and professional expertise in local non-profits, our mission is to build the capacity of our investees and strengthen their impact to create positive social change. Here in Phoenix, we focus on helping nonprofits that increase children, families, & individuals’s resiliance to risk factors, and increase children’s ability to succeed academically.
Established in 1999, as the 2nd SVP in the Global Network, SVP Arizona has contributed just above $3.9 million dollars and thousands of volunteer hours to 100+ nonprofits in our desert community. Local success stories include Treasures 4 Teachers, Feeding Matters, Teen Lifeline, and many, many others. -

Grant Review Team
The Unfunded List
Everyday, talented grant writers with great ideas craft compelling proposals for solving problems. They send these proposals to foundations in search of funding. Thoughtful and hardworking reviewers and philanthropists, after careful evaluation, carefully choose which programs will receive funding.
Many foundations receive tens of thousands of proposals. Potential solutions gather dust. Most cannot give detailed feedback to the unfunded list.

Every proposal submission will receive detailed, candid and helpful feedback from our experienced Evaluation Committee. Feedback could include introductions to other potential funders, suggested improvements to the proposal, potential partnerships, etc. and will be tailored to each individual application.
We will then publish a list of the ten (or so) best Unfunded ideas in the inaugural Unfunded List on December 1, 2015
