If your title is President or starts with the word Chief and you are on LinkedIn praising AI and the impact it will have on your company, it better be for more than reducing headcount. If it will reduce headcount (which is the only money saving part of AI I have seen) I suggest you be honest about the number of families you are kicking to the curb because of AI. I am yet to see an AI initiative that isn't just taking away jobs from someone in your business because it's more efficient. Then you see these leaders praise the power of AI on LinkedIn without ever being realistic about the harm it did to employees who used to have a job at your company. The worst leader I ever had was able to wrap a thankful for my family and thanksgiving in the same post where they praised the power of AI, and is either oblivious or truly doesn't care if AI ruins your family's thanksgiving. Until I see someone with one of those titles put up a post about how they lost their jobs because of AI, then I will read those other posts with a realistic view about who AI is affecting negatively.
