Dustin Carver posted thisRecruiter sent me a position for a position I would have to relocate for. Based on partly my windows experience. My literal 0 years of windows experience. Many Glassdoor reviews on the company, the rating was below 50. His argument "...the only reviews given are from upset or former employees. " I've been an upset, and former employee before, it was never enough for me to right a bad review....regardless. Recruiters! Please cease spamming me with job postings not relevant for me, and setting us up for failures, like interviews with skills we don't have, and jobs that are going to turn over after we move across country. #recruiters #recruiterslife

Dustin Carver liked thisDustin Carver liked thisLayoffs, layoffs, layoffs. Contrast that with record earnings, record CEO bonuses and records in the stock market. Cognitive dissonance much? All of this is enabled by a lack of regulatory oversight. While I don't want to seriously impact small and medium businesses ability to grow, the MAANGs of the world have become near-monopolies thanks to the relaxation of anti-trust laws allow these megacompanies to scoop up small businesses at a ridiculous rate. Less competition helps no individual. More power concentrated in fewer companies eliminates said competition. In the US, at least, we're watching any kind of regulatory oversight be eliminated because it limits how wealthy and powerful the already ridiculously wealthy and powerful can become. Wealth is not the absolute end-all, be-all that some believe it to be. The wealth gap continues to grow, unchecked now more than ever, and eventually, those chickens are going to come home to roost (yes, I know the idiom is "birds", but I'm a big fan of a certain show that screwed up the metaphor. Name that show!)
