If you want patients to invest in your care, you must be willing to invest in the business that delivers that care. There’s a growing narrative that mentorship and consulting for practice owners should be “cheap.” And I say this with love… that mindset is keeping too many providers stuck, overwhelmed, and losing money quietly behind the scenes. Mentorship and consulting are not the same. A low-cost program can give you general information. A consultant helps you avoid costly mistakes, compliance issues, denials, wrong hires, incomplete workflows, and the silent financial leaks that don’t show up until months later. Here’s the truth. Every practice owner pays for growth. You either pay upfront with strategic support or you pay later through burnout, fines, rejections, lost revenue, and rebuilding what wasn’t built right the first time. And if you genuinely don’t have it right now… this is not a dead end. It’s a signal to work, create, and position yourself while you build it.
