Darrin Tulley shared thisAmazing effort, Kristina Karlson - SOOOOOO close to hitting your visionary goal! I hope folks that are able and feel good giving back help you out in the final hours here. Final push!Darrin Tulley shared thisToday is the final day to donate to my Let’s Play for Platelets campaign supporting Blood Cancer United and I’m asking for one last push! Donate here: https://lnkd.in/ei_faEZ7 Over the past several weeks, this experience has become so much bigger and more meaningful than I could have ever expected. The more immersed I became in this work, the more I learned how deeply blood cancers affect not only patients, but families, friends, caregivers, and entire communities. Organizations like Blood Cancer United do incredibly important work through funding life changing research, supporting patients and families, advancing care, and helping people feel seen and supported during some of the hardest moments of their lives. And what’s especially powerful is that this research impacts so many other cancers too. What has affected me most throughout this journey has been the people who showed up beside me. Every donation, every share, every message, every person who came to an event, bought a ticket, connected me to someone, or simply encouraged me along the way has helped create something far bigger than any one person could do alone. Watching people come together around a shared purpose has genuinely inspired me more than anything before. I am endlessly grateful to everyone who supported, inspired, encouraged, and believed in me throughout this campaign. Getting to play even a small role in something that can truly change lives has been one of the most meaningful experiences I’ve had. Today is the last day of an intense, meaningful and amazing 10 week campaign. If you’ve been meaning to donate, share, or support in any way, please please do so and I truly appreciate your help getting us across the finish line! Donate here: https://lnkd.in/ei_faEZ7 A special shoutout to my powerhouse of a team: Mary Jalbert Miranda Grawehr Kelly (O'Brien) Elia Nick Rourke Megan Sherman Dylan Pattenaude Laurie Salzberg Melissa Swanson Sasha Dale Chelsea Dropik And few of the many who have supported so much of this! I could never have done this without any of you and your continued supppt in me and my work! ❤️ Greg Ashlyn Melissa Scott George Elizabeth Tim Dave Sarah Cassidy Laura Kathleen Lizzie Stephanie Taylor Randi Peter

Darrin Tulley shared thisWhat an honor to call John O'Leary a friend. He is the icon of possibility in my eyes and is the bestselling author of my favorite book, In Awe. Now there is a movie about him and his story. Don't miss out on seeing this movie in the theatre and expanding your world with new possibilities. In 1987, a curious nine-year-old boy named John O'Leary experienced a life-altering event. Playing with fire and gasoline, John caused a massive explosion in his home, resulting in burns covering 100% of his body. Despite being given less than a 1% chance of survival, John defied the odds. Today, John serves as an inspiration to tens of thousands of individuals. To delve deeper into John's remarkable journey, watch the movie trailer showcasing his story. Consider bringing your loved ones to witness this transformative experience in the movie theatre, where you'll begin to view life through a new perspective filled with awe and wonder. For further insights into John O'Leary's extraordinary life, tune in to a special episode on the Live Your Possible Podcast featuring his inspiring story. Darrin Tulley liked thisJoin us! This one is going to be extra special. 🔥Darrin Tulley liked thisThere's a difference between a conference that fills your schedule and one that changes how you think. Influence Greatness 2026 is the second kind. IG26 is a deliberately small gathering of HR leaders, held this September at Black Desert Resort in Southern Utah, a setting that's as far from a convention center as you can get. Lava fields. Red-rock cliffs. Space to actually think. The conversations go deeper because the room is smaller. The ideas stick because they're grounded in real research. And you leave with people in your corner who understand the work you're doing. At Influence Greatness 2026, you'll get: → A first look at the 2027 Global Culture Report before anyone else → Strategies for navigating AI, performance, engagement, and culture in today's workplace → Expert insights and proven strategies from culture leaders across some of the world's most respected organizations → Connections that don't end when the conference does → SHRM and HRCI credits "I am a better leader in part from the insights and partnership with the O.C. Tanner team and their exceptional Influence Greatness conference." — Liz Janssen, VP, Talent & Organizational Development, ICF 📅 September 22–24, 2026 · Black Desert Resort, Southern Utah #InfluenceGreatness #IG26 #HRConference #OCTanner

Darrin Tulley liked thisDarrin Tulley liked thisOur 2nd Annual Peaks 4 Purpose weekend was one to remember. 35 hikers across 11 teams summited Adirondack High Peaks to raise awareness and support for teens in foster care and the court system. Together, we raised $59,000 over the past year through this unique event—these funds provide mentoring, resources, and hope for young people as they build independent, fulfilling lives. One of the greatest lessons the mountains teach us is the hardest climbs are always better with a team . . . on the trail and in life. Thank you to every hiker, donor, volunteer, and supporter who made this possible. Your generosity and commitment are making a real difference. And we're just getting started! Darrin Tulley liked thisDarrin Tulley liked thisMy interview with Oprah about The Power of Beliefs just came out! I highly recommend watching or listening with your family to generate conversation this summer. Find out why I became a full time dad for 7 years after my daughter was born almost 3 months early and why I came back to write this book after making two research discoveries that changed everything for me. I'm deeply grateful to Oprah and to the Harpo team for making this come alive. Beliefs change the math about what is possible and probable. And by changing the math, beliefs change our path. https://lnkd.in/gHzuvA89

Darrin Tulley liked thisDarrin Tulley liked thisNobody is under more pressure than a CEO. Board accountability. Investor expectations. Strategic decisions that determine the company's survival. Growth calls that ripple across the entire organization. The weight stops with you. And you still show up. Here's what most people don't see: - The loneliness of the role. - The pressure never stops. - You can't share the burden. When a CEO's capacity depletes, it cascades. Your stress becomes the organization's stress. Your reactivity shapes culture. A regulated leader thinks more clearly under pressure. They listen fully. They respond from strategy, not survival mode. The organization feels that steadiness. 67% of C-suite executives are more stressed than last year. They all still have to lead. The question isn't just "how is the business doing?" It's "does the person leading it have the capacity to sustain this?" Because your capacity isn't just about you. It's about your organization. If this resonates, I'd welcome a conversation.

Darrin Tulley reacted on thisDarrin Tulley reacted on thisThere's been some commentary lately that the era of "people-first" leadership is over and we're moving toward a "performance-first" approach. The problem with that argument is that human performance is a lagging outcome of human energy. The current state of many workplaces, as endless data suggests, is one in which the conditions are extracting that energy. Exhausted people don't create excellence. Fearful people don't innovate. People who feel replaceable don't engage. The question right now isn't whether leaders are focused on people or performance. The question is whether leaders are creating the conditions that make performance possible. Those conditions are built through care, support, trust, and safety. Great leaders focus less on demanding performance and more on making performance possible. #leadership #culture

Darrin Tulley liked thisDarrin Tulley liked thisA post to say thank you to ALL my friends and colleague’s. In 35 years, I’ve had the privilege of working for only two organizations- 20 years with PLANCO / Hartford and 15 years with FS. Looking back, I am grateful for every relationship, lesson and experience. I thought I would take the opportunity to share perspective on a question I often get asked. “ How do you win in the business of sales “ ? This is the formula I go to battle with. People x Quality Activity x Repeatable messaging = Winning Results 1. People. Smart Leaders surround themselves with the best people they can find and build relationships based on trust and authenticity. Have the ambitious goal of being the best part of everyone’s day you encounter. A team rooted with a foundation of trust has a speed advantage that is deadly to competition. No amount of talent outweighs the damage caused when trust is lost. A true othered centered mentality is a smooth pathway to long lasting relationships. 2. Quality Activity. A Mentor once told me “ Show up more and don’t be an ASS. “. Sadly, this is true. If you just see the right people more often and deliver real value you separate yourself from the pack in a meaningful way. Two challenges here, Identifying the right people and delivering value. Creating leverage in your business by working with people that can amplify your efforts for you is critical. Delivering value is in the next bullet point. 3. Repeatable Messaging. In a world where people want things faster and easier I believe the most effective approach is to slow things down for people so that perceived complexities become easier to understand. Anytime you can make someone a better communicator you are adding real value that will create a hunger for more that will never be satisfied. It’s like telling a good joke. When it resonates with someone, they react positively and most importantly cant wait to share it and take credit. Be that resource and the right people will always have time for you. All of this is great, however it only works if it is wrapped in an environment comprised of trust, authenticity, accountability and most importantly fun. Value and results that are delivered with a smile and laughs are tough to beat !!!! As I look toward to what is next, I am excited about opportunities to help organizations grow through : 1. Building high-performing sales teams 2. Developing exceptional Managers 3. Creating first-class sales desk 4. Marketing, Sales and education. Alts, Annuities, MFs, SMAs, ETFs etc…. 5. National Accounts and Business Development. 6. Storytelling and presentation coaching - ( some stories have the added advantage of being true 😜) Wishing all of you the very best. Let’s connect if I can be helpful in any way. PS. Never forget. When you are sad something is over that means you are happy it happened.

Darrin Tulley liked thisDarrin Tulley liked thisYou know that one leader who genuinely supported you? The one who just made you feel different. I think most of us have or have had someone like that in our life. The one who saw something in you early, made speaking up feel safe, and treated people like people. What made them so memorable was almost never their strategy. It's about how regulated they were. How much of themselves they had available for the people around them. That kind of leadership travels from the inside out. That's the leader that stays with us forever. Repost this and tag that one leader who supported you when it mattered most.

“When I accepted a position supporting Darrin seven years ago, I was extremely excited for the opportunity, but I had no idea what an amazing leader he would be. Darrin is that rare leader who is also a coach and mentor, and while instructing he is also coaching, supporting and guiding. He is an incredibly inclusive leader, always making sure every voice in the room is heard, and every idea receives equal consideration. His team’s success is his success, and he always ensures that every member of his team has the opportunity to grow, thrive, and be their best self. Darrin truly knows how to bring out the best in each person, and I’m honored I had the chance to work with and learn from such an exceptional leader.”

Legacy planning starts now, not later. RETIREMENT PLANNING FOR COACHES: 💰 Financial preparation (irregular income reality) 💰 Succession planning (client transition) 💰 Knowledge preservation (methodology documentation) 💰 Relationship maintenance (ongoing connections) 💰 Identity transition (from expert to emeritus) LEGACY BUILDING OPTIONS: 📚 Write the definitive book 📚 Create certification programs 📚 Mentor next generation 📚 Document case studies 📚 Establish scholarship funds SUCCESSION STRATEGIES: → Gradual client transition to other coaches → Group practice with junior partners → Sell practice to qualified successor → Transform into training organization → Merge with larger coaching firm RETIREMENT TIMELINE: 5 YEARS OUT: Begin succession planning 3 YEARS OUT: Reduce client load, increase training 1 YEAR OUT: Full transition plan activation RETIREMENT: Legacy maintenance and enjoyment THE LEGACY QUESTIONS: → What do you want to be remembered for? → How will your work continue without you? → What knowledge must not be lost? → Who are you developing to carry on? Great coaches plan their exit as carefully as their entry. #RetirementPlanning #LegacyBuilding #SuccessionPlanning
