My LinkedIn inbox is full of one question:
“How did you go from Nurse Practitioner to sales?”
And honestly?
For years, I didn’t even know careers like this existed.
I thought my options were simple:
➡️ See patients.
➡️ Move into leadership.
➡️ Go back to school.
What nobody told me was that there was an entire industry looking for clinicians.
People who could:
• Build relationships
• Educate providers
• Understand patient outcomes
• Solve problems
• Drive business growth
I started as a Nurse Practitioner.
Then became a Clinical Specialist.
Then a Field Sales Trainer.
Today, I’m an Account Executive with L’Oréal SkinCeuticals.
The biggest lesson?
Your clinical experience is more valuable than you think.
Many healthcare professionals spend years believing they’re “just” a nurse, NP, PA, therapist, tech, or clinician.
You’re not.
You manage people.
You influence decisions.
You educate.
You sell ideas every single day.
You advocate.
You lead.
The skills are already there.
Most people simply don’t realize they are transferable.
If you’re a healthcare professional wondering whether you can break into medical device, pharma, aesthetics, biotech, diagnostics, or healthcare sales…
You can.
I know because I was once the person searching LinkedIn for someone who had done it before me.
👇🏼Tell me your current role below (RN, NP, PA, PT, etc.) and where you’re hoping to go.
