I'm grateful for the amazing team, leadership, and experiences that have guided me and will continue to guide me. Phenomenal culture, strong relationships, and genuine fulfillment are hard to find, but worth valuing when found. Reflecting on the past makes me hungry for the future - embracing a growth mindset feels energizing, good things feel inevitable.

A simple AI success story...Our team used Google's research assistant (https://lnkd.in/eiEK2xFa) to help ease the reporting self serve problem. Just feed it some markdown files describing your key tables and how they join to one another. I also added the schema of each table which contained descriptions of every field. Chuck in some business rules (for example, always assume the user wants Euros unless otherwise specified) and the result was perfectly generated SQL that can be then run against the database to get the data the user needs to answer their question. Other teams have taken this one step further and uploaded best practice SQL guidelines to ensure the generated SQL is most efficient. It's a simple use of AI but one that is already saving the team time when someone sends a slack message asking for a random cut of data

From insight to impact. There’s a particular kind of privilege in getting to work on systems that actually make it into the world, where organizational attention, real users, and real consequences start to converge. The highest-impact work isn’t about prompting faster or shipping demos sooner. It’s about helping teams build shared judgment: making system behavior legible, surfacing tradeoffs early, and turning ambiguous outcomes into explicit constraints an organization can reason about. That kind of work doesn’t look flashy from the outside. But when it’s done well, it quietly changes velocity, trust, and decision quality across many teams at once. To me, this moment in AI feels less like the end of effort and more like a reallocation of it. The tedious parts shrink. The judgment-heavy parts expand. And experience suddenly compounds instead of getting in the way.
