It was Q’s 11’th birthday and his first ever Red Sox game! He was ecstatic! Q became my little brother a year and a half ago through the Big Brothers Big Sisters program in Boston. Reason I shared the quote at the beginning is because it’s taken over a year to gain an 11 year olds trust. It’s something I’ve worked hard at and something I will continue to work towards throughout my relationship with Q. I’ve learned throughout my time with Q and in life that Trust is an essential element of successful relationships. Alongside trust is being dependable.
