Burnout doesn’t care how tough you are.
Lately, I’ve been pounded with no’s and I’ve hit a wall.
But I’ve learned something important.
It wasn’t the long hours or deadlines that got me—it was losing clarity.
When you’re so deep into something, pouring in months, even years of effort, and it still doesn’t work out, that’s when burnout creeps in.
The constant 'no's' became mentally exhausting and clouded my perspective.
In times like this, I step back.
I go to the ranch. Get outside and do something physical—hiking, hunting, building.
It gives me space to think, breathe, look at the bigger picture and get that clarity back.
I encourage everyone at RAM to do the same.
We believe in helping our team live their fullest lives, and that sometimes means stepping back to recharge.
That's why I believe mental health shouldn’t just be a personal priority, it should be a company value.
What are you doing to take care of yourself?
