The research team at the Molnar Trauma & Violence Research Lab, led by our faculty member Dr. Beth Molnar, has been conducting a rigorous evaluation of the child sexual abuse prevention curricula for pre-K through 5th-grade children of the Healthy Relationships Project from Prevent Child Abuse Vermont. This manuscript describes lessons they learned from the pilot study they conducted with a public charter school in Washington, DC prior to the full stepped wedge trial with 15 additional public/public charter schools in DC. I’m so grateful for this opportunity and for everyone who has supported me over the years. While I’m excited for what’s next, it’s bittersweet to be leaving Sidley. The past year has been filled with opportunities to learn, grow, and work alongside people who have been incredibly generous with their time, mentorship, and support. I’ll always be thankful for the experiences and relationships I’ve gained here. Looking forward to this next chapter and excited to see what’s ahead.

As Black Music Month comes to a close, I am especially grateful to take this next step and continue pursuing my passion for creating, sustaining, and protecting the musical legacies of Black artists.

The leaders here have imparted invaluable lessons on what it means to lead at all levels and to truly own the proverbial "it." I am incredibly thankful for the opportunity to have served alongside such talented individuals. If I could leave my colleagues with one piece of advice, it would be this: always remember to install your patches and updates. And please, don’t forget the Star Wars memes in the Slack channel—it really makes life easier for our IT folks! Looking back, I tried my best every day, even when I fell short. Working in IT reminds me that everything needs maintenance, but I believe the greatest patch of all is the patch of Grace over our lives. Love, in action and in truth, is what matters most. The Good News is that Love and Grace have a name. As I step into this next chapter, my DMs are open—whether you want to talk shop, swap IT memes, or if you want me to introduce you to that Grace. It would be my great honor. No paywall.

From my journey as a Scholar in 2022 to now in my first year on the Advisory Committee representing POLITICO, it has been inspiring to witness this year's cohort experience the impact of this foundation. It's great to see how Datavant is continuously trying to improve the client experience and, in this case, providing faster determinations, less unnecessary remediation, saving clients time and money!Daisha Joseph liked thisMost HIPAA Expert Determinations aren’t shaped by data alone. They’re also shaped by context including how data will be used, who can access it, and what safeguards are in place.
