We have set for ourselves a Mission way beyond our known zones. We have our own MISSION TO MARS. So, a few days ago we regrouped and went to Cape Canaveral to learn from the best performing teams on the planet. We went to NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration to learn about Space Travel. It was fascinating to learn from the teams that work on solving many of humanity's most complex problems in the most hostile of environments....the outer space. Julia Páez , a Rocket Scientist like no other. You are truly an inspiration to us all, thank you for sharing your story to the Moon and beyond, we learn a lot from your career and role on the Artemis Missions I & II The Astronaut Training Facility (ATX) at NASA, was where we got a teaser and experience first hand how these heroes prepare for the Red Planet. Amazing team experience! Our team is now reenergized, confident, empowered, aligned and laser focused on the Mission. Chubb Digital Latam is now in orbit to Mars. FAILURE IS NOT AN OPTION Mission Control, Miami, Fl btw: guess which company insures the Rockets?

And a deeper appreciation for a country moving with remarkable speed, ambition, execution and tradition. What stood out most was not only the scale: It was the operating system. Everything feels digital, connected, and embedded into daily life. You can feel it everywhere but here in on steroids: China now produces more than 70% of the world’s electric cars. 50% of the robots (300,000) The phone is more than a device. Now even your face or your hand is a wallet. Ecosystem is the word. High-speed rail. Airports. Digital payments. Robotics aiming to be in daily life. AI conversations around genetics, productivity, and expanding human capacity. You do not see everything everywhere but in China you feel it at scale: But you can feel what is coming. For those of us building digital ecosystems in insurance, finance, and beyond, China is a powerful reminder: The future will belong to those who can combine speed with scale. Innovation with execution. A huge thank you to the Huatai and Chubb teams, our partners, and colleagues who made this week possible. I leave energized, inspired, and even more excited about what is ahead 🤘🏻💪🏻

This weekend at Ironman Vietnam, after an amazing swim, my race ended the moment my quadriceps tore. How do you prepare for something like this after months of discipline, sacrifice, and focus? While I was sitting on the side of the road waiting for medical assistance, I had a lot of time to think. And I realized this: Anybody can stand tall when things are going well. But true character is revealed when things fall apart. When the plan breaks. When the body says no. When the result is not there. That is when you find out who you really are. Moments like this force you to zoom out. And when I do, I see how much there is to be grateful for. I am blessed to be able to practice sport. Blessed for my family. Blessed for my friends. Blessed for the journey. Blessed to even have the opportunity to chase something this hard. I have always had the gift and the burden of never doing anything halfway. When I commit, I go all the way. But at the end of the day, this is an endurance race. A passion. A test. A hobby. And there will be more opportunities ahead. Life keeps teaching the same lesson: Nothing that truly matters is given. You have to earn it. Through setbacks. Through discipline. Through resilience. Through getting back up when it would have been easier to stay down. Through grit. So this is just more of the same. Another chance to earn it. I will recover. I will learn. I will rebuild. And I will come back next year stronger, faster, and better. To every friend and family member who reached out before and after the race, thank you. And to my coach Colin, thank you. You are amazing. You all remind me that even when the result is not there, the journey is still worth it. Alberto Estrada Puerta liked thisAlberto Estrada Puerta liked thisI am so grateful that I had the opportunity to present at the Second Chance for Life Foundation's 36th Annual Education Seminar this past weekend. It was so wonderful to connect with post-transplant and post-LVAD patients and caregivers and to discuss the "Link between Mental and Cardiac Health". I appreciated the stories and perspectives shared by our patients and all of the learning we were able to engage in together.

To empower the next generation of travelers to share more during their stay at Marriott properties, we gave them complimentary GoPro HERO4 cameras to document their experiences, transforming happy guests into brand ambassadors. The Program was embedded in the hotel experience across 17 hotels in Latin America with everything from dedicated in-room channels inciting guests to test drive GoPro cameras, to a contest where guests could win hotels stays, and a website in 3 languages with original…

A full social strategy was launched on all Marriott and GoPro channels and the results are incredible.

The critical component of VIEW-IT is the Google Earth plug-in and its JavaScript API, which allows a 3D digital globe view, satellite imagery and navigation controls to be embedded within the web page. Apache is used as the web server and web pages are formed from a combination of JavaScript and PHP scripts. The critical component of VIEW-IT is the Google Earth plug-in and its JavaScript API, which allows a 3D digital globe view, satellite imagery and navigation controls to be embedded within the web page. We used GE plug-in versions 4 and 5 in developing and using VIEW-IT, although a version 6 was released on 29 November 2010 and is shown in our figures. The new version allows browsing of historical high‑resolution imagery, while our research versions of the plug-in only allowed a user to look at the most recent images. Other JavaScript APIs integrated into VIEW-IT include (Figure 1): Panoramio (www.panoramio.com) to view georeferenced (e.g., “geo-tagged”) photographs uploaded by a global community; Google Charts for viewing temporal Enhanced Vegetation Index (EVI) data at sample points and administration data summary; and, ArcGIS JavaScript API for displaying biome and ecoregion polygon and VIEW-IT sample points GIS layers from ArcGIS Server 9.3 (ESRI, Inc.) Representational State Transfer (REST) map services.
