Cuong Ta, P.E. liked thisCuong Ta, P.E. liked thisI'm starting a new chapter in life called Retirement. I've been blessed to have worked 20 years in the cardiovascular space for ACS, which became Guidant, and now Abbott Vascular. I spent time testing products, building equipment and fixtures and ultimately designing stents to combat cardiovascular disease for countless patients. (I got to work on the original Multi-Link line extension!) I worked 4 1/2 years in the bariatric space developing a novel treatment for morbid obesity for a talented team at Vibrynt. I then worked 12+ years for Intuitive Surgical and contributed to the launch of two robots (daVinci Xi, and Dv5) improving the lives of millions of patients. I look back at my 38-year run, and feel honored and truly blessed. In my new role as a retiree, I'll be moving with my lovely and supportive wife to Lyme, Connecticut to be closer to my kids and take care of our newly renovated home. I'll look back on my days spent working with many of you and smile fondly. Thank you for the support, and blessings to you all!
