Cornelius Gruss shared thisAfter the first drone delivery with the new box, the next step is to build a way to order a meal. So I got together with a friend of mine to figure out a system that would allow us to monitor our drone and enable customers to order. So for the last couple of months, we have built our own Server and Drone infrastructure. We have also built an app to then later monitor and control the drone. The fundamental connection is running over the LTE-Network and so the drone can be monitored worldwide. At the moment, we are testing the system with dummy data, but the next steps will include the actual connection to the drone. The possibilities with such a system are endless when it comes to drone management, placing orders and connecting drones with orders, firmware updates over the air, flight histories, drone statistics, and many more. #drone #dronedelivery #uav #drohne

Cornelius Gruss shared this„I feel fairly comfortable about six years from now“ was what Elon Musk answered when he was asked three days ago about when the first humans will land on Mars. The thought of humans walking on Mars in 6-7 years is mind-boggling. But the whole interview at the Axel Springer Award got me thinking about visions and why they matter so much. All of his companies have such clear, precise, and audacious visions, like making life multi-planetary or accelerating the transition to sustainable energy. While Tesla's vision is quite clear to everybody, I was wondering what other car companies might stand for. That was a lot harder. Elon's real strength, in my opinion, is his ability to communicate his vision to his employees and the rest of the world. I think it is the vision that is making every employee work harder and in one direction. As he says, there needs to be a reason to wake up in the morning. #elonmusk #vision #axelspringeraward

Cornelius Gruss shared thisOne year ago, I completed my first attempt to deliver pizza with a drone. Since then, the design of the drone and the cargobox has changed many times. Every setback and broken part has allowed for more learning and improvement. Failures became learning opportunities. After about a year of developing and testing the drone has made its first autonomous pizza delivery today! I also have a feeling that it wont be it's last 😉 #drones #drone #dronedelivery #uav

Cornelius Gruss liked thisCornelius Gruss liked this🦁Wir haben einen Deal mit Ralf Dümmel! frischluft Fensterbrett in Die Höhle der Löwen Update: Nach einem regelrechten Faustkampf zwischen Carsten Maschmeyer und Ralf Dümmel haben wir Ralf mit dem humorvollen Angebot von 15 % für 199.000 € (1,33 Mio. € Firmenbewertung) überzeugt. Jetzt ging die Reise aber erst los, denn wir haben in der Show ein Produkt vorgestellt, das für den Einzelhandel überhaupt nicht funktioniert. Ob Ralf das so bewusst war? In Stapelfeld bei Hamburg wurde das Thema gleich auf den Tisch gebracht: 48 SKUs, der Kunde muss vor dem Kauf zu Hause erst sein Fenster vermessen!? Unmöglich im Einzelhandel – und online zu erklärungsbedürftig. Eine Lösung musste her. Und genau die haben wir in den Monaten danach gemeinsam mit dem Produktentwicklungsteam von Ralf entwickelt. Das Ergebnis: ein komplett verstellbares frischluft Fensterbrett. Für mich eine super lehrreiche Zeit und das komplexeste Produkt, das ich je mitentwickelt habe (jetzt mal abgesehen von der 22 Tonnen schweren Tunnelbohrmaschine). Das Produkt besteht aus mehreren Aluminium-Stranggussteilen, zwei Aluminium-Druckgussteilen sowie mehreren Spritzgussbaugruppen. Ein Traum für jeden Fertigungstechnik-Professor ;) Für mich vor allem eine fette Checkbox auf meiner nerdigen Bucket List. P.S.: Dieses Problem war uns natürlich schon vorher bewusst, deshalb haben wir in der Show auch die Frischluft-Fensterleiste vorgestellt, ebenfalls eine verstellbare, universell anpassbare Variante. Letztendlich sollte sich das Produkt aber stärker in Richtung unseres Kernprodukts entwickeln: einer schwebenden Fensterbank. KI hat die Architektur zwar erreicht, ein umfassendes KI-Architekturvisualisierungswerkzeug existiert jedoch noch nicht. Die Tools, die heute für KI-gestützte Architekturvisualisierung eingesetzt werden, sind häufig – fragmentiert – schlecht in bestehende Planungssoftware integriert – inkonsistent in ihren Ergebnissen – und erfordern ein zu hohes Maß an Expertise. Nicht jede:r Architekt:in kann oder will sich durch eine Vielzahl isolierter Tools arbeiten, mehrmals im Workflow die Plattform wechseln und komplexe Prompting-Strategien austüfteln, um verlässliche Ergebnisse zu erzielen. Alle Schritte, von CAD über Generierung bis hin zur Nachbearbeitung, müssen verlässlich und automatisiert sein, damit der Fokus wieder auf dem Wesentlichen liegen kann: Nämlich auf Kreativität und Kommunikation. Genau hier setzen wir bei Interstitial AI an.
