Corey Bevilacqua shared thisThis was one of the most inspiring and engaging weeks I’ve had in my time at Liberty attending the 50th #NMSDC (National Minority Supplier Developer Council) conference. It was amazing to connect with potential new vendors and hear about timely topics from top Procurement executives across industries. The best part was seeing Erika Gibson in her element and experiencing all of the credibility she brings to Liberty in the #supplierdiversity space. She’s a #rockstar and will continue to lead our team forward. I look forward to partnering with our amazing team and MBEs we met this week to continue our journey. Oh, I also got to play Doug for our team photo. #libertylibertyliberty #libertymutual #lifeatlibertyCorey Bevilacqua shared thisThe gang's all here including Doug aka Corey Bevilacqua and LiMu Emu! The Liberty Mutual team had representation at the #nmsdcconference across multiple categories to connect with Minority-Owned Businesses (MBEs) to expand inclusivity within our supply chain. We made some great new connections and strengthened relationships with existing MBE suppliers! #supplierdiversity #lifeatliberty #libertymutual

Corey Bevilacqua liked thisCorey Bevilacqua liked thisYesterday marked the end of my 16.5-year journey at Liberty Mutual. I was introduced to Liberty through a blind Northeastern University School of Law Co-op posting for their staff legal department. Initially, I had no interest in becoming a trial lawyer or working for an insurance company. However, Liberty took a chance on me and hired me fresh out of law school. The result is a self-described insurance nerd. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working in four different legal groups, including a brief stint in international law. Each of these opportunities has allowed me to grow my legal and insurance expertise, and I am incredibly grateful for them. I am incredibly grateful for all the friends, colleagues, sponsors, and mentors who have supported me throughout my career. Without their unwavering support, I wouldn’t be able to love what I do. Saying goodbye to a place that I have called home for the better part of 20 years is not easy, but I am excited for my next opportunity.

What a week. Grateful to Pinterest and Bloomberg for having me on stage and in the studio, and to all of the partners who welcomed our team throughout the week. Thank you for the conversations, the ideas, and the inspiration. The work on display in the Palais was incredible. Being surrounded by 15,000+ people who care so deeply about creativity, storytelling, and innovation was a powerful reminder of why I fell in love with this industry in the first place. My favorite part, though, was experiencing it alongside such a talented extended team. So many great conversations, new perspectives, and ideas to bring home. Now... back to Boston, where finding shade should be a little easier. 😊 Sean Kelleher Warren Marenco Chase Courtney Berry Danny Gonzalez David Suarez Bandits & Friends Copper Giants

Corey Bevilacqua reacted on thisCorey Bevilacqua reacted on thisAbout 14 years ago, when I realized I could no longer sustain a career as a prosecutor, I was determined to apply for jobs at one place, and one place only, Liberty Mutual, where my mom worked as a corporate flight attendant. For close to 3 years, my extremely narrow focus led to disappointment, as I was rejected for multiple roles. Fortunately, 11 years ago, I was hired as a Regulatory Counsel in Global Compliance & Ethics (GC&E). I remain deeply grateful to the people who made that opportunity possible. When I joined Liberty, I quickly learned that I knew absolutely nothing about insurance. My insurance expertise could best be described as, "I have insurance." What followed was an incredible journey filled with outstanding opportunities, exceptional colleagues, and career growth beyond my wildest expectations. I truly never intended to leave this wonderful company. But sometimes a new challenge comes along that is simply impossible to pass up. So, it's time for my next adventure. Thank you to the remarkable leaders who invested in my development and helped me learn so much about this incredible industry. Thank you to my mentors, whose guidance and support have meant everything to me throughout my Liberty career. And most importantly, thank you to GC&E, USRM, and my incredible USRM Compliance team, who inspire me every day and are truly best-in-class. Liberty Mutual, thank you for the opportunities you provided to both my mother and me. Thank you especially for the friendships and the ride of a lifetime.

It was a privilege to talk with the team about planning strategies during a bear market. I'm so grateful to be surrounded by such talented advisors who are eager to learn and grow in their craft. We're already thinking about what we tackle next year. Thank you to the entire team that helped plan and facilitate this Summit!

Corey Bevilacqua liked thisCorey Bevilacqua liked thisWhat a special evening at Catholic Charities Boston's Spring Celebration. It was my honor to introduce Liberty Mutual Insurance's Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer Tim Sweeney as this year's recipient of the John and Virginia Kaneb Justice and Compassion Award, which recognizes individuals who embody social justice, compassion, respect and dignity in serving others. I can think of no one else more deserving. At Liberty Mutual, Tim has created a culture where investing in communities and giving back are woven into how we operate. He pushes us to think bigger, to solve problems and to strengthen communities in ways that endure. He leads with humility, builds trust, and keeps people at the center of the work. For many years, Liberty Mutual and Catholic Charities have worked together to support communities across Greater Boston. From supporting the Teen Center in Dorchester, to expanding access to food and housing in Lynn, Lowell, Lawrence and Brockton, to bringing the full strength of our people and expertise to help this organization grow. The needs of our communities continue to grow, and I am grateful for organizations like Catholic Charities that work every day to meet those needs with compassion and dignity. Thank you to Kelley Tuthill, Ed.D. and Catholic Charities Boston for an inspiring evening celebrating the life-changing work happening across Greater Boston. Congratulations, Tim, on this well-deserved recognition.

Corey Bevilacqua reacted on thisCorey Bevilacqua reacted on thisAfter 23 years with Liberty Mutual, I’m beginning a new chapter at USAA as Assistant Vice President, Program & Project Management. This move is personal. I grew up in a military household. Service, integrity, and commitment to something greater than yourself weren’t values we talked about, they were the standard we lived by. Those principles shaped how I lead. They’re also why joining USAA feels a calling. My first week confirmed it. The culture, the people, the mission, the commitment to military members and their families is uncompromising. This is an Association where purpose and passion meet, and where we take care of our own isn’t a tagline. It’s how people show up. It’s a privilege to serve those who serve. To the mentors, colleagues, and most of all my wife Linel and our three children: thank you. None of this happens without you. I’m here to help USAA deliver what its Members and family deserve: exceptional service, trusted advice, competitive products and meaningful advocacy to help them achieve real financial security, with Members at the center of every decision we make. Love. Serve. Make things better. Help people thrive! #USAA #Leadership #Service #MilitaryFamilies #Gratitude

Corey Bevilacqua liked thisCorey Bevilacqua liked thisI was honored to join Deloitte and The Wall Street Journal for Part 2 of this conversation. In this piece, I talk about how finance can help the business move with greater confidence in a fast-changing environment, from more granular rolling forecasts to enterprise scenario planning and stronger risk management. I also share why trusted, well-governed data matters so much and why our first Chief Data Officer for finance is such a critical enabler of better, faster decisions. At Liberty Mutual Insurance, we are focused on helping people embrace today and confidently pursue tomorrow. That means strengthening the foundation behind our forecasts, capital decisions and risk insights so we can better support our policyholders, our teams and our long-term strategy. Thank you to Craig Schneider and Deloitte for the thoughtful conversation and the opportunity to share our perspective. Corey Bevilacqua liked thisCorey Bevilacqua liked thisMy son was selected to represent his high school’s art program at a student weekend at Haystack Mountain School of Crafts, where he immersed himself in a blacksmithing program over the past 2 days. At a time when so much of my own thinking, planning, and work is intertwined with AI, admiring the items he had physically shaped by hand felt unexpectedly grounding. AI is transforming how we work and solve problems, and I’m deeply excited by that. But this experience was also a reminder that craftsmanship carries its own kind of intelligence and pride: the satisfaction of making something tangible, imperfect, and real. The future probably isn’t about choosing between technology and human craft; it’s about remembering the value of both.
