Corey Schwartz reposted thisCorey Schwartz reposted thisUnfortunately, I was impacted by the recent workforce reduction at Vedanta Biosciences. After nearly three years with the company, I'm now exploring new opportunities. My time at Vedanta was invaluable. I had the privilege of working alongside very smart and talented people. I'm grateful for the mentorship and friendships I've built there. I'm now looking for my next opportunity as a Principal Research Associate or Scientist I, where I can apply my expertise in microbiology, in vivo pharmacology, and analytical development. If you know of opportunities that might be a good fit, or if you'd simply like to connect, please don't hesitate to reach out. I'd love to chat about how I can contribute to your team's success! #OpenToWork

Corey Schwartz reposted thisCorey Schwartz reposted thisUnfortunately I have also been impacted by the layoff at Vedanta Biosciences. I sincerely enjoyed my 3.5 years there and am grateful for the people I have worked with. Due the layoff I am looking for my next opportunity. Given my experience and skillset I am looking for associate director or director level roles in MSAT, technical operations, operations, or manufacturing. I am primarily looking for roles in the greater Boston area, but am willing to consider remote roles. Previous to Vedanta I have worked at Arranta Bio, Pfizer, and Merrimack Pharmaceuticals. If you aware of any opportunities that I would be a good fit for, please dont hesitate to reach out, and let's connect! #Opentowork #BiotechJobs #PharmaJobs

I joined a lively, genuinely interactive panel with Christopher Reckord, Delano Gaskin and Dr. Alan Bernard on "Designing Processes that Adapt and Endure." The conversation kept coming back to one idea: Resilience isn't a system you buy, it's a way you build. Processes have to bend to constant change and survive the sudden shocks. More importantly, AI only multiplies what you point it at, so the design has to come first. For me, sessions like this are part of a full-circle moment — bringing global experience back to the region and contributing to Jamaica's productivity and digital future. Thank you to the JPC team for the invitation and the warm welcome, and to Chris and Dr. Bernard for a sharp, energizing exchange. More of these conversations, please. 🇯🇲 #Productivity #AI #Resilience #Jamaica #DigitalTransformation #WorldProductivityDay

Corey Schwartz reacted on thisCorey Schwartz reacted on thisToday marks my last day with Vedanta Biosciences, Inc., one of those “end of chapter” moments that feels both reflective and quietly exciting. Over my time here, I have had the opportunity to work with an incredible group of people who care deeply about what they do. Together, we’ve tackled complex challenges, navigated the occasional curveball, and, more often than not, found ways to turn them into meaningful progress. Because "...there is always a path to compliance." It has been a journey filled with learning, growth, and more than a few memorable conversations that started with a “quick question…” and somehow turned into an hour well spent. I am grateful for the trust, the collaboration, and the camaraderie. It’s the people that make a place, and this group certainly made an impression. As I step into what is next, I am carrying forward not just the experience, but a long list of lessons, perspectives, and relationships I will value for years to come. And perhaps a slightly higher tolerance for ambiguity than I once had. Here is to new beginnings, though I suspect a part of me will always keep time in “before and after Vedanta.” Thank you to everyone who made the journey such a rewarding one. Stay well, stay curious, and keep doing great things.

Corey Schwartz liked thisIt was a pleasure talking with Steve and sharing my experience building biotech companies, challenges we have face, and the relationships we forge with people along the way. It allows you to accomplish some extraordinary things......Corey Schwartz liked thisI sat down with Daniel Couto for another episode of Biotech Leadership Conversations. He gives insight into how he's applying AI inside a GMP manufacturing organization, connecting deviation reports to corrective actions to training updates in one step. He's also moved to a simpler and cheaper QMS, that switch forced his team to remap every workflow, which became its own improvement exercise. His point: when your quality systems have been bolted together over 10 years of sprinting, sometimes the simplification matters more than the automation. If you run quality or manufacturing at a small biotech, where has AI actually changed how you work? Corey Schwartz liked thisDelighted to be back on Rx Group #Let’sTalkQuality podcast with Hemish Ilangaratne and Jon Voss for another thoughtful conversation on where Quality and Compliance are headed. We covered quite a bit of ground, from the current biotech landscape and evolving FDA engagement to the real value of AI, pragmatic fit for purpose Quality systems, and what strong Quality leadership will require moving forward. And yes… I still remember QMS before the “e”. Back when every department had its own carefully curated Quality Assurance binders; towering monuments to diligence, dog-eared tabs, and the occasional mystery document no one quite remembered authoring. Some things have changed, thankfully. Some things remain part of the shared folklore of Quality. My thanks to Hemish, Jon, and the Rx Group team for having me back. Always a pleasure to talk shop with people who care deeply about building quality organizations that are both effective and human. If you work in Quality, Compliance, or life science and enjoy practical insight without the unnecessary theatrics, I will strongly recommend subscribing to Let’s Talk Quality. It’s full of smart, experience-led conversations and well worth adding to your listening list. #Quality #Compliance #QMS #QualityLeadership #Biotech #Pharma #lifescience #medicaldevice #ContinuousImprovement #LetsTalkQualityCorey Schwartz liked thisEdward (Ed) Armstrong, Vice President of Quality at Vedanta Biosciences, has been in quality long enough to remember when QMS meant stacks of binders and inter-departmental envelopes. In his Season 4 conversation on Let's Talk Quality: The Podcast🎙️, he puts the current AI moment in perspective. eQMS changed how the industry captured data. AI is changing what the industry can do with it. Listen to Ed's full episode with Hemish Ilangaratne on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and YouTube. Link in comments.

2moCorey Schwartz liked thisWe are so proud to celebrate two incredible educators who go above and beyond for the next generation of pharmacists. 🎉 A heartfelt congratulations to Amira Yusuf, PharmD, RPh and Emma Eibye, PharmD, BCACP. What makes these awards extra special? They are selected and voted on entirely by our students — making them one of the most meaningful recognitions a preceptor can receive. These aren't just titles; they are a direct reflection of the impact Drs. Yusuf and Eibye have had on the students who learned alongside them. Preceptors like Drs. Yusuf and Eibye are the backbone of pharmacy education. They don't just teach skills — they shape the kind of pharmacists our students become. They show up with patience, expertise, and genuine investment in every learner who walks through their doors. Dr. Yusuf, thank you for giving our introductory students a foundation to grow from and the confidence to keep going. Dr Eibye, thank you for challenging our advanced students to rise to the level of the incredible clinicians they're becoming. These awards reflect what so many of our students already know — you are both exceptional. 💙 Thank you for everything you do. The profession is better because of you. #NUBouve #PharmacyEducation #PreceptorOfTheYear #PharmacyStudents
