Connor O'Malley reacted on thisConnor O'Malley reacted on thisA common Agentic AI misstep❗️😧 Talking to the LLM too much! You can engineer the heck out of your prompts. And eventually get your desired result. Only to run the same “perfect” prompt, against the same scenario, using the same LLM and end up with a different result. AI is tricky that way. So why talk to the LLM so much? Especially if the result is more tokens (cost 💸) and flimsier results. The magic 🪄 happens when you use the LLM to help create your functioning web automation Template — and you only go back to the LLM when a specific piece of your Template breaks — and just for that piece. Agentic AI web automation today is not about end-to-end automation, it’s about end-to-end augmentation. And in production — it’s not as simple as a well engineered prompt to an LLM. It just isn’t.

The #1 thing sellers need to do with AI in 2026 has nothing to do with AI. 89% of sales orgs use AI tools now. Only 28% see revenue impact. Most reps blame the tools. The tools aren't the problem. The problem is what you're feeding them. AI can't help you prep for a call if your last note says "good convo, will follow up." It can't write a relevant follow-up if you didn't capture what the prospect actually said. It can't flag deal risk if you haven't updated the stage in 3 weeks. The sellers winning with AI in 2026 aren't using better tools. They're giving AI something to work with. What that looks like: → Call notes with actual quotes, not vibes → Next steps with dates (not "circle back soon") → Pain points in the prospect's words → Stakeholders mapped with their role in the deal → Real close dates, not "end of quarter, probably" Takes 3 extra minutes per call. Turns every AI tool you touch into something useful. The gap between "AI doesn't work for me" and "AI makes me dangerous" is your inputs. Feed it better. Win more.
