Cindi Jo Cheaney reposted thisCindi Jo Cheaney reposted thisWe're thrilled to share that Transpose Platform has been ranked #4 globally and #2 in the US as the most active VC firm in PitchBook's Q3 2025 Global League Tables. This recognition reflects our commitment to backing ambitious founders at the earliest stages. Activity isn't the goal on its own. What matters is being there first for the founders building category-defining companies. These rankings validate our strategy of systematic access through accelerator partnerships and direct formation-stage investing. A huge thank you to our founders, LPs, and team who make this work possible. Your trust and ambition drive everything we do. This recognition comes at a pivotal moment in AI and infrastructure investing. We're more committed than ever to supporting the next generation of transformative companies. (*Sam Altman was president of YC at that point). 💰Coinbase (public)– $65Bn → One of the earliest crypto plays. 🛵 DoorDash (public) – $90Bn → Started by Stanford students, now powering logistics in 7,000+ cities. 📊 Incredible that YC’s 5,000+ alumni now have a combined value of $𝟲𝟬𝟬–𝟴𝟬𝟬 𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻— but most of that stems from just a few dozen breakout companies. —— 👥 YC was co-founded by Paul Graham & Jessica Livingston, who built a culture around one belief: “𝘔𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘱𝘦𝘰𝘱𝘭𝘦 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘵.” Turns out, that simple idea powered one of the greatest innovation engines in startup history. —— 🎙️ Source: YC’s Garry Tan on Shane Parrish’s podcast ( 🖇️ in comments). 🧠 Whether you’re building, investing, or just curious — YC’s model is worth understanding. 📸 The image shows some of the Unicorns that YC has backed at the earliest stages (mostly at < $10Mn valuations). 📅 Posting later this week on how absolute returns on small early stage cheques can be astronomical! 📣 PS -If you enjoyed this, ♻️consider sharing with your network & 👉🏽 follow me, Akhil Paul for more! #startups #venturecapital #investing #tech #entrepreneurship #innovation

Daniel Elkins, a Green Beret and founder of the Special Operations Association of America is only committed to one thing more than he is our great nation, and that’s his wife and the mother of his 2yr old daughter. Right now, Lauren is battling glioblastoma…terminal brain cancer. Daniel - a man who has spent his life showing up for others - is asking for OUR help. The financial toll ahead is unfathomably steep and the Special Forces Trust has graciously stepped in to allow any contributions made to support the Elkins family to be tax deductible. If you’re able to support - do that here: https://lnkd.in/erTv-kCq If you’re able or not able, PLEASE share this, and keep my brother and his family in your unceasing prayers!

Cindi Jo Cheaney reacted on thisCindi Jo Cheaney reacted on thisI am so PROUD to support Tom Steyer for Governor!! Of course, as his wife of 40 years, I am a sick partisan, but he is the real deal. I know this because for over forty years, we have poured our hearts, time, and resources into California because we believe in its people and its promise. I know Tom will fight for Californians, NOT corporations and special interests that are not paying their fair share of taxes and that are driving up costs for ever more profit, making it nearly impossible for working families to thrive as they so richly deserve. California needs leadership that puts first PEOPLE AND THEIR ONE AND ONLY EARTHLY HOME. Together, we can build a California that shares prosperity and works for everyone. Let’s get it done!! Vote Tom Steyer for Governor!!!

Cindi Jo Cheaney reacted on thisCindi Jo Cheaney reacted on this💙✨ When the Universe Aligns ✨💙 A few weeks ago, I shared that after 26 years as an Executive Assistant, I was stepping away from the profession and beginning a sabbatical. One of the primary reasons was simple: I wanted to be more present for my mom as she continues to navigate significant health challenges. At the time, I had no idea how important that decision would become. Just three days after my last day at Spotify, my mom was admitted to the hospital. As I write this, she has been there for nearly three weeks. The days have been long, emotional, and often unpredictable, filled with conversations with doctors, nurses, specialists, care coordinators, and family members. There have been moments of uncertainty and worry, but also moments of hope and gratitude. Through it all, I keep reflecting on the timing. It's funny how the universe has a way of aligning when we least expect it. Had I still been working full-time, I would have done everything possible to support my mom, but I also would have been balancing meetings, deadlines, and the constant demands of a high-level EA role. Instead, because of this sabbatical, I have been able to devote my time and energy exactly where it is needed most. I have been able to be present—for the doctor visits, the difficult conversations, and the countless decisions that come with navigating a complex healthcare journey. I've been able to advocate for her care, coordinate next steps, and, most importantly, simply be her son. That has been an incredible gift. These past few weeks have reinforced something many of us know but don't always prioritize: time is our most valuable asset. Careers matter. Accomplishments matter. But the people we love matter more. Titles change, jobs evolve, and opportunities come and go, but time with family is something we can never get back. While this has been one of the most challenging periods of my life, it has also been incredibly special. It has given me perspective, deepened my gratitude, and reaffirmed the importance of being fully present for the people who matter most. I don't know exactly what the next chapter holds, but I do know this: right now, I am exactly where I am supposed to be. And for that, I am grateful. Thank you to everyone who has reached out, offered support, and kept my mom in your thoughts. It means more than you know. ❤️ #Gratitude #FamilyFirst #Sabbatical #LifeLessons #Caregiving #PersonalGrowth #ExecutiveAssistant #Leadership #Perspective #EALife #ExecutiveAssistant

Cindi Jo Cheaney liked thisCindi Jo Cheaney liked thisThe best EA work is invisible until it's not there. Here are 7 things a great EA does that nobody sees: 1. RELATIONSHIP MAINTENANCE. ■ She remembers that the CFO prefers email over calls. ■ That the board member's wife just had surgery. ■ That the client's anniversary is next week. 2. CRISIS PREVENTION. ■ The conflict she spotted in the calendar before it became a crisis. ■ The email she held before it caused damage. ■ The decision she flagged before it became a mistake. 3. INFORMATION FILTERING. ■ Everything that reaches the CEO has been triaged. ■ Only what requires the CEO's brain gets there. 4. REPUTATION MANAGEMENT. ■ Every communication in the CEO's name is reviewed. ■ Tone, Timing, Relationship-awareness. 5. EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE. ■ She reads the room, the CEO's energy, and the stakeholder landscape. ■ She adjusts accordingly — before anyone has to say anything. 6. INSTITUTIONAL MEMORY. ■ She holds the context nobody else holds. ■ The "why we did it that way" that lives nowhere else. 7. THE SMALL THINGS THAT ARE ACTUALLY BIG. ■ The thank you sent at the right moment. ■ The follow-up that kept the relationship warm. ■ The detail that made the CEO look exceptional. None of this is in a job description. All of it is in a great EA. Which of these does your organisation most need right now? 👇

Cindi Jo Cheaney liked thisCindi Jo Cheaney liked this$100K a year is the new poverty line. If that offends you, you haven't checked grocery prices lately. I remember when $100K a year was the number everyone chased. Get to six figures and you've made it. That was the story we all believed. I believed it too. I worked in banking for over a decade watching people celebrate when they finally crossed that threshold. They thought they'd arrived. They bought nicer cars. Upgraded their apartments. Started talking about investments. Then they looked at their bank account 6 months later and wondered where it all went. The math doesn't work anymore. Housing costs have doubled in most cities over the past decade. Childcare costs more than university tuition. Groceries feel like a luxury purchase. And inflation has been quietly eating away at every dollar you earn. $100K in 2010 had real purchasing power. $100K in 2026 means you're one unexpected expense away from stress. I work with business owners now and I see this constantly. Professionals making six figures who feel broke. They're not bad with money. They're not irresponsible. They're just living in a world where the goalposts moved and nobody updated the playbook. The salary that used to buy a house now barely covers rent in competitive markets. The income that used to fund a comfortable retirement now gets absorbed by the cost of existing. This is why I stopped chasing salary and started chasing ownership. When you work for someone else, you're trading time for money that loses value every year. When you build something you own, you're creating an asset that can grow faster than inflation erodes it. I spent my 20s believing the corporate ladder would take care of me. I collected raises and promotions and thought I was building security. I wasn't. I was building dependence on a system designed to keep me running in place. The people I know who actually feel financially secure aren't the ones with the highest salaries. They're the ones who stopped relying on a single income stream controlled by someone else. They built businesses. They created products. They developed skills they could monetize independently. They stopped asking for raises and started asking how to capture more of the value they create. $100K from a job is not the same as $100K from a business you own. One keeps you comfortable until the next layoff. The other compounds into something that can actually change your life. The salary game is rigged now. The numbers that used to mean success have been hollowed out by economic forces nobody can control. The only way to win is to stop playing by the old rules. What income would actually make you feel secure today, and how does that compare to what you thought five years ago? P.S. The dogs can't understand why they "didn't pick me to be their forever family and live in a real home with people who love me?" 🔆That's what they're thinking. They feel unloved and unchosen. It's not "Yay! Let's go find the cutest one to adopt!" 〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️ 🔆 WHAT I PRAY HAPPENS... 🔆 You ask the shelter staff which dog has been there the longest? The shelter staff person brings you to the sweet dog, and you ask the sweet dog, "Can I stay here awhile and visit with you?" 🔆 Visit with the dog and tell the sweet dog "You didn't do anything wrong. You deserve a wonderful life." "I hope you will choose me/us, to be your family to love you and take good care of you always." 〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️ 🔆 A shelter dog will love you dearly and make you happy every day of their life! Put yourself in a shelter dogs shoes, how they think and feel. 〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️ 🔆 If you can't ADOPT, FOSTER, if you can't foster, VOLUNTEER, if you can't volunteer, DONATE and be the VOICE for these sweet dogs with big hearts and beautiful souls who need you. 〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️ 🔆 Would you adopt a shelter dog Yes □ No □ Let us know in the Comments... 〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️ Enjoy this? ♻️ REPOST it to your network and FOLLOW Lisa Przybysz 〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️ #Dogs #Love #Adopt #Rescue #Home #WaitingForYou #ForeverFamily #WelcomeHome #DeserveAGreatLife #followers @everyone #LinkedInPets ❤️
