I am so honored that I was able to begin my career with such an amazing team and impressive company. I thoroughly enjoyed my time and am so grateful for the many experiences, moments, and memories made. I've attached just a few of those moments too! Though that chapter of my career has come to a close, I am happy to share that I have officially joined The Volume Social Team as a Social Media Coordinator. Thank you to Evan Sporer, Kerry Nelson, and Matthew Kline for your consideration and support as I transition into this role. Ciera W. shared thisA little CFB Recap now that the season is over. Really proud of the college football coverage the House of Highlights team delivered this season! College football has always been close to my heart, so covering it for work has turned that love into a true personal passion. Watching our coverage grow from last season to this one has been incredibly rewarding, especially getting more opportunities to bring the game directly to fans through on-site coverage. From expanding how we develop Instagram Stories to experimenting with unique on-screen moments that overlay live action shots, this season pushed me creatively in the best way. Grateful for the trust in ideas, encouragement, and continued growth to elevate how college football is experienced on social!

Ciera W. shared thisIt's been almost a month since I graduated from the The University of Georgia! I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Journalism major, Film Studies minor, and a Sports Media Certificate. My time at UGA has been transformative, filled with invaluable experiences and opportunities that have shaped me both personally and professionally. I am deeply grateful for the support and guidance of my professors, classmates, and the entire UGA community. I am also excited to announce that I have accepted a position as a Social Programmer for House of Highlights with Bleacher Report! So grateful to Ryan Bagdikian and CaroLine Jastremski for this opportunity. This marks the beginning of a new chapter in my post-graduate journey, and I can't wait to dive in and contribute to such an innovative and dynamic team. Thank you to everyone who has supported me along the way. Here’s to new adventures and continued growth!

It's been amazing to see our growth and journey throughout the school year, and to watch Michael's idea grow into the success it is has been a blessing. So honored that our hard work was recognized by the university community.Ciera W. shared thisAs I finish my undergraduate journey, I am thrilled to announce the consecutive accolades bestowed upon our organization, the Black Affairs Council for outstanding advertising promotion. In 2023, our initiative, BUGA Bulletin, garnered recognition, followed by BUGA Meets in 2024, both of which I spearheaded. BUGA Bulletin, an Instagram platform, diligently informs the African American community at The University of Georgia about campus events, fostering engagement among students. Complementing this effort, BUGA Meets, a podcast series, showcases African American student leaders and faculty, facilitating dialogue and sharing invaluable experiences within the University community. Acknowledgment is due to my esteemed presidents, Cydney Parsons and Myesha Mateen, whose unwavering support propelled these initiatives forward. Additionally, I extend heartfelt appreciation to our dedicated camera woman and producer, Ciera W., whose integral contributions were pivotal to the success of both endeavors.

Each opportunity has challenged me to grow, strengthened my confidence, and reaffirmed why I’m passionate about communications, public relations, marketing, and creating meaningful experiences. This past year, I had the opportunity to: 🎟️ Serve as a Marketing Intern at The Classic Center, where I contributed to marketing initiatives and developed a community awareness campaign showcasing The Classic Center’s impact on Athens. Seeing an idea grow from research to presentation was one of the most rewarding experiences of my internship. 🏥 Support the University Health Center’s marketing team by creating social media content and promotional materials that encouraged student engagement and promoted campus health initiatives. 🏆 Be recognized as one of UGA’s Top 100 Student Employees, an honor that reminded me how meaningful it is to be recognized for hard work, dedication, and a commitment to serving my campus community. 🏟️ Working with the Fan Experience team at Mercedes-Benz Stadium for the Fall and Spring semesters, helping create memorable game-day experiences for thousands of fans. This role strengthened my communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills while reinforcing my passion for the sports and entertainment industry. 🎉 Helping prepare Georgia Daze now as President for another exciting year by collaborating with our executive board to plan programs and create meaningful experiences that foster community and belonging for students at UGA. 🌟 Continuing to serve in leadership roles across organizations including Georgia Daze, National Pan-Hellenic Council, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. And cherishing the leadership roles I was able to serve with the Sports Business Club and NCNW. All of these experiences that have helped me grow as both a communicator and a leader.
