Christopher Rocha, MBA reposted thisChristopher Rocha, MBA reposted thisInnovation is not an accident. It is intentional. We are proud to share that the RoboLogger™ system is now protected by six United States patents, including two foundational patents acquired from Solid Automation Geological Supply and our most recent continuation filing added in June 2024. Our intellectual property portfolio covers automated drill cuttings collection, controlled sample handling, and integrated geochemical measurement workflows that deliver quantitative rock data at the wellsite. For us, patents are not just certificates on a wall. They represent years of field validation, engineering refinement, and rig deployment across multiple basins and operating environments. As automation and data driven geology continue to reshape drilling operations, protecting the technology that enables better decisions is critical. We remain committed to advancing the science of wellsite measurement while maintaining the integrity of the systems we have built. The future of quantitative mud logging and automated rock analysis is here. #RoboLogger #EnergyInnovation #OilAndGasTechnology #MiningTechnology #Automation #IntellectualProperty #Geochemistry #WellsiteTechnology

Christopher Rocha, MBA reposted thisChristopher Rocha, MBA reposted thisDear Friends and Colleagues, After more than 25 years in the oilfield services industry, I’m reaching out to my network as I continue to explore the next chapter in my career. My experience spans both large corporate environments and smaller private companies — and I’ve learned how to succeed and lead in each. I’ve had the privilege of working with outstanding teams, managing complex operations, and learning from some of the best mentors in the business. Along the way, I’ve led sales strategies, optimized performance, managed P&Ls of various sizes and helped build operations from the ground up — always focused on delivering results and creating lasting value. I’ve been called a leader by those I’ve worked alongside and those I’ve worked for — and that recognition means more to me than any title ever could. Now, I’m actively looking for a new opportunity where I can apply my experience, drive, and leadership to make an immediate impact. If you know of a role, company, or contact that might be a good fit — I’d truly appreciate a referral or introduction. And of course, if there’s ever anything I can do to support you in return, please don’t hesitate to reach out. 📩 donald.perrinjr@gmail.com 📞 (281) 386-5840 #OpenToWork #OilAndGas #Leadership #BusinessDevelopment #OperationsManagement #SalesStrategy #EnergyIndustry #VeteranLeadership

Christopher Rocha, MBA reposted thisChristopher Rocha, MBA reposted thisDiversified Unlocking the Subsurface: The Untapped Value of Drill Cuttings Drill cuttings are often overlooked, yet they are a free byproduct of drilling operations that, when properly collected and analyzed, provide real-time insights into the subsurface. These tiny rock fragments hold the key to optimizing completion, production, and drilling economics—if we use them wisely. 🔍 Think of it like navigation technology. Twenty-five years ago in Houston, I relied on a Key Map to find my way around town. It worked—but it was static. Today, I use my phone’s GPS, which gives me real-time traffic updates, alerts for accidents, road closures, and even weather conditions, allowing me to adjust my route for maximum efficiency. The same principle applies to real-time mud, rock, and gas chemistry in drilling. Just as modern navigation adapts to real-world conditions, real-time geochemical data empowers operators to: ✅ Optimize well placement ✅ Enhance reservoir contact ✅ Pick the best casing and coring points ✅ Reduce non-productive time (NPT) ✅ Improve overall drilling efficiency Why rely on outdated methods when we have access to real-time insights? The data is already there—we just need to use it. #Geology #DrillingOptimization #EnergyInnovation #Geochemistry #MudLogging #DataDriven Diversified

Christopher Rocha, MBA liked thisChristopher Rocha, MBA liked thisOne of the messages that really resonated with me from this month’s AAPG Explorer was that AI doesn’t replace good geology. It makes good geologists even better. At Diversified, that’s exactly how we think. The foundation of any AI model has to be real, physics based data. That’s why we’ve invested so heavily in extracting as much information as possible from drill cuttings or core, whether they’re collected in real time while drilling or from legacy sample archives. Drill cuttings are one of the industry’s most valuable and underutilized data sources. By combining geochemistry, imaging, mineralogy and AI, we turn those samples into practical information that helps operators make better decisions. The objective is simple: better reservoir understanding, reduced uncertainty and more efficient resource extraction. As our industry adopts more AI, the companies that will create the most value won’t necessarily have the biggest models. They’ll be the ones with the best grounded data. That’s what we do every day at Diversified. If you’d like to learn more about how we help operators unlock the value of drill cuttings and legacy geological collections, please get in touch. 📧 info@diversifiedai.com #Geoscience #AI #DrillCuttings #ReservoirCharacterization #Geochemistry #MudLogging #Mining #Geothermal #CCS #DiversifiedAI Diversified

Christopher Rocha, MBA liked thisChristopher Rocha, MBA liked thisToday marks 20 years with CHRISTUS Health! I knew this was a great organization from my first interview with Ellen Reiss ➕. What I didn't know was how much I would grow both professionally and personally over the years. I've had the opportunity to lead meaningful projects, work alongside incredible leaders and colleagues, and contribute to initiatives that support our mission and strategy. Along the way, I've been challenged, encouraged, stretched outside of my comfort zone, and given opportunities that have helped shape the professional I am today. I may be a little biased, but I truly believe CHRISTUS is one of the best places to work. I genuinely enjoy what I do, and that's not something everyone gets to say. As I reflect on the past twenty years, my biggest takeaway is gratitude. Gratitude for the people who have invested in me, believed in me, and created opportunities for me to grow. Excited to keep "Extending the Healing Ministry of Jesus Christ" 💜.

Christopher Rocha, MBA liked thisChristopher Rocha, MBA liked thisThe 60 biggest miners on Earth are worth $2.6T combined. They sell $1.1T a year, and as a group are up +14.8% YTD. Stack all of them up and they are still worth less than Microsoft is on its own. The copper in your wires. The lithium in your phone. The iron in your building. The gold in the vault. All of them. Together. Worth less than the software that runs on top of the metal. Now here is the strange part. Gold is the single most common metal these 60 giants chase. 15 companies built their name on it. And yet: -> 10 of those 15 are down this year -> Gold miners average -5.8% YTD, while the whole group is up +14.8% The metal shines. Most of the people pulling it out of the ground are in the red. Everyone wants gold at the top and hates it at the discount. I am taking the discount, because I believe this is the pause before the run. Gold does not need permission, and neither do I. So if not gold, who is actually winning? Follow the wires. Copper is the quiet king: -> 13 companies -> The single biggest slice of all this value, 25%, exactly $654.0B -> 11 of those 13 are up this year Copper is the metal of everything electric. Wiring. EVs. Power grids. The data centers training every AI model you have heard of. The market is already pricing in a structural copper shortage by 2030. But the loudest winner? A metal you have probably never said out loud. -> Tungsten averaged +162% YTD, with one Chinese producer up +233.8% -> Molybdenum rose +85.4% on its single producer, Jinduicheng Moly Tiny. Obscure. Used in defense, cutting tools, and semiconductors. The metals nobody talks about quietly won the biggest. Now the twist that breaks most people's mental map. Where these giants live is not where they dig. -> The UK hosts Rio Tinto, Anglo American, and Antofagasta -> Switzerland hosts Glencore -> None of them meaningfully mine at home Where the head offices actually sit (by company count): -> China: 15 companies, $457.0B -> The US: 6 companies, $462.6B -> Australia: 6 companies, $347.5B -> Canada: 9 companies, $329.9B -> The UK: 4 companies, $300.6B Read that twice. China has the most companies. The US has the most money, $462.6B, from just 6 firms. Where the digging actually happens (countries of operation): -> Australia, where 25 of these 60 operate -> Canada, 17 -> Chile, 15 -> Peru, 13 -> Brazil, 12 -> plus heavy presence across Africa The map of head offices is a map of money. The map of operations is a map of rock. Two completely different maps. One last thing the numbers hide. Glencore sells $252.8B a year. The market values it at $92.7B. Southern Copper sells just $13.4B a year. The market values it at $162.3B. One sells 18 times more and is worth less. Because investors do not pay for the sales ticket. They pay for the rock in the ground and the margin on it. So which would you bet on for the next 10 years: the metal, the miner, or the ground itself?
