Christine Ferreri, MBA shared thisLet’s go year 5!Christine Ferreri, MBA shared thisWe just finalized our 2026 Summer Concert Series at Beak & Skiff. It’s our biggest lineup yet! 15+ shows in partnership with my dear friends dan smalls and John Sanders But for me, this isn’t just about the music. When I came back to the farm in 2013, we were thinking a lot about how to keep this place alive for the next generation. Apple farming is unpredictable and humbling. One bad season, one cold night, and everything can change. Music wasn't some grand strategy; it was a bet that if we gave people a reason to spend time on this land, they'd fall in love with it the same way my great-great-grandfather did. It brings people to the orchard. It gives folks a reason to spend time on the land. And over time, it’s helped connect everything we do here: from 1911 Hard Cider to ayrloom cannabis. What started as a few shows has turned into something much bigger. Artists often remark that playing a show at Beak & Skiff feels like an off day and a place they can recharge. Many of them ask to come back. Proud of what the team has built, and excited to see it keep growing. Come see a show sometime, and don't forget to take in the view. https://lnkd.in/enxxmp2U

Christine Ferreri, MBA shared thisI’m halfway through my 10 days as Production Manager for the Rochester Lilac Festival. We’re working hard and making 80 sets happen throughout the festival. I’ve learned so much on the job. I’ve also had the opportunity to mentor and teach an incredible group of music business interns, which has been so rewarding. Some of them are from my alma mater, Naz, which is a really cool full circle moment. Working in music is so fulfilling!

Excited to diversify my skillset into the more technical side of the music industry, which will serve me well leading Rochester Lilac Festival. After this course, I’ll be taking sound gigs (in addition to VIP, festival operations, box office, TM, and merch) come April! With my time spent in venues the last decade, paired with what I learn in this course, I can’t wait to add value to your next show!

Leigh, tasked us with an interesting exercise. "Write down where you want to be in your career in 10 years." I knew I wanted to be in marketing, but didn't really know what that meant.. "Maybe I could somehow help make commercials for Nike or something? That would be sick... Or I could stay in Rochester and get a job at Bausch + Lomb?" I thought, naively. I ended up writing something down that surprised even me. "In 10 years, I'll be running my own marketing agency." Little did I know that 80% of marketing agencies fail within their first 5 years. Well.. in 2021 I filed the LLC for Splendid Strategy and since then: - Built social media strategies that turn complete strangers into loyal customers - Helped businesses get found by the people searching for them through SEO (and now AEO/GEO, so they show up on AI platforms like ChatGPT) - Developed websites that capture a brand's personality while optimizing for SEO and conversions - Launched paid social and Google ad campaigns that reached the right people at the right moment, turning ad spend into real revenue ...and more Damn... that manifestation thing really works huh.. Thank you to my clients, family, and friends. I'm feeling grateful to be doing something I have complete conviction about. If you're ready to get your business in front of the right people, let's get after it.

Christine Ferreri, MBA liked thisChristine Ferreri, MBA liked thisMy first National Restaurant Assocation show in Chicago was an exhausting good time, looking for new potential connections, partners, and services for German American Events/the Chirstkindlmarket’s winter projects and overall success. The trade show includes over 2k vendors, and it’s light work to walk 5 miles in a day accross the cement and glass continent of a venue. Enjoyed many photogenic samples from brands willing to put in $$ to reach new customers. Reoccurring taste themes include: plant milks, exotic fruit flavors, chilli sauces, sugar free “functional” drinks (including the elusive Beyond protein drink)…machines that automate the mixing, pouring, and shaping of all sorts of food service items (like cotton candy shaped like a flower), lots of compostable food service items, ai trying to grasp onto any possible service…was a useful experience. Until text year!
