I did a shoddy job of getting pictures but it was so great to see the span of generations represented from retired partners to associate level alumni with everything they are working on now and the reach of the network in the business world. Cheyenne Johnson, CMP liked thisCheyenne Johnson, CMP liked thisToday is officially my last day with KPMG US, and looking back, I’m filled with so much gratitude. There is one memory from my time here that stands out. A few months after joining the firm, I headed to Lakehouse for a multi-day marketing training, which fell right over my birthday. Instead of the week I had planned, I tested positive for COVID on day one and spent 6 days quarantined in my room. What could have been a really lonely week turned into a defining moment. My team, along with other marketing colleagues I hadn't even met yet, constantly checked on me, called, sent Teams messages, and offered to leave snacks and drinks at my door. To top it off, the Lakehouse staff and my managers made sure I had fresh flowers, balloons, and birthday treats so I could still celebrate. KPMG is a place where people don’t just work together, they show up for each other. Beyond the culture, I'm so proud of all of the work I was able to accomplish. From launching meaningful campaigns and events in the NYC market to building out reporting and dashboards that helped teams track impact, it’s been so rewarding to see it all come together! The relationships I’ve built here are ones I’m genuinely proud to carry with me through the rest of my career. While it’s bittersweet to say goodbye, I am so excited for this next chapter! #KPMGAlumni

It was fantastic to see so many wonderful people come together for a Brit-Pop Pride high-energy workout guided by the fabulous Alex Hodges, and make great connections over a detox/retox happy hour afterwards! I will go back and redo all my guests' covers. Just didn't know have a final concept down till a few days ago. Lesson learned: Don't not do something just because you don't have it ALL figured out. Till a few days ago, I recorded 6 guest episodes, with no idea how the cover would look so just used my generic cover. It would have been a mistake to make people wait while I figured it out and instead, I'd have 0 episodes to share with you by now.
