Your EMR integration quote is probably wrong. And we're willing to bet it's because the first number rarely includes one (or some, or all!) of the following: → HL7 interface mapping ($40K–$120K) → Data migration and validation ($25K–$75K) → HIPAA compliance checks ($15K–$30K) → Staff productivity loss during transition → Ongoing API maintenance nobody budgets for MGMA found that 30% of medical group leaders now cite health IT modernization as their single largest new budget line in 2026.
