My Salesforce run has officially come to an end and it's been an absolute exciting ride! 16 years flies by when you're having fun and the people you’ve had the pleasure of collaborating with day to day are not merely work colleagues, but friends…and in some cases, friends who are like family!
There are far too many people to list out who have been instrumental to my development and experience at ExactTarget prior to the Salesforce acquisition, but there are definitely a few who made sure to point me in the right direction when I needed a helpful nudge…
Sameer Kazi,
John DeFoe,
Ryan Warren,
Brian Olson, Doug Meade,
Sean Brady,
Jim Koepke,
Allison Bantz, and
Taylor Ring, Thank you and thank you!
And that was just the beginning of the ride! For the last 10+ years, I have been extremely fortunate to step into the Partner/Agency world and help build from the ground up an ecosystem to support ET/Marketing Cloud Partner Practices around the globe. The invaluable time spent under leaders, mentors and with peers such as
Don Lynch,
Mike Pryor,
Benjamin Yerushalmi,
Rachael DiMeo,
Michael Hammel and
Tracy Novotny can not be replicated! We spent years together setting the course, evaluating practice needs, aligning with sales/product teams, all while adapting to an ever changing landscape. Once again….Thank you and thank you!
And none of this would have taken place without the person who deserves my final note of gratitude - thank you to
Scott Dorsey and crew for igniting all of this right here in Indy with the startup of
#ExactTarget! So many of us ET’ers will continue to have extremely fond memories of the early ET days for years to come. We'll have the wisdom to share with others about being there in the early days of a successful Tech Start Up and of course explain the long living "Subscribers Rule" mentality. ET became the building block for my career and I am forever grateful! Thanks Scott!
Chances are, if you have gotten this far in the post, you have been an important person in this journey as well. Thanks to you for making the run as meaningful and exciting as possible. Perhaps I’ll catch you on the next ride (wherever that may be)!
