But these tools come with risks. Writing for Technical.ly, Kimberly Wexler Klayman and Harry Levin explore the hidden exposure that AI tools can create, particularly with respect to liability around intellectual property, confidentiality, open-source software, and cybersecurity. Their thoughts are a word to the wise, especially for founders and entrepreneurs. Read more of their piece here: https://bit.ly/4cAwM6R #AI #Coding #Risk

Cassidy Chambers reposted thisCassidy Chambers reposted thisMy girlfriend lost 4 $40 water bottles in 4 months. So I built the solution. And now it’s on Amazon. Meet AirBoot — the first AirTag-compatible bottle boot. I sold 120 prototype units in 90 days. Customer feedback allowed me to reiterate. My next batch sold out twice as fast. So I went all in… I’m honored to have been selected for the Ballard Academy for Student Entrepreneurs program, featured on the cover of the Campus Marketing Specialists winter catalog, awarded 2nd place at the Global Student Entrepreneur Awards (GSEA), and accepted to Texas Christian University’s CREATE accelerator program.

Cassidy Chambers liked thisCassidy Chambers liked thisTombstones. I first heard that word used in a business context when I started in the national marketing department of an accounting firm in New York, fresh out of college. I couldn't figure out why everyone kept talking about tombstones. (This was pre-Google, so I couldn't exactly look it up!) It was driving me crazy, so I finally asked. Someone explained that the term came from the investment banking world, where newspaper announcements of completed deals looked like - you guessed it - tombstones. Decades later, the term is still around, and the content behind it is just as important as ever. Whether you call them tombstones, representative matters, or experience highlights, they're much more than a list of past work. They provide proof. They help prospective clients see that you've solved similar challenges, understand their industry, and know how to navigate complex issues. They answer one of the most important questions every client is asking: Why should I trust your firm with my matter? Creating tombstones is actually one of my favorite parts of my job. The BD and marketing team isn't involved in providing the legal services, but we do help tell those stories. Every tombstone starts with a conversation—asking the right questions to understand what made a matter significant. Was it the complexity? The creative strategy? The outcome? The impact on the client's business? Our job is to turn those stories into evidence that helps the next prospective client see what's possible. I'm curious...Does your firm still call them tombstones, or has another term become the norm?

Cassidy Chambers liked thisI would love to tell 20-year-old me that he'd make a Jeep ad good enough for Cannes. He'd probably be too busy explaining how he totaled his first Grand Cherokee, though. I keep thinking about what would've surprised the younger me the most. Maybe that he'd get to work on Jeep at all. A hometown brand, for a kid from outside Detroit, and the same one that gave him his first car... And his second. You already know what happened to the first. Or that the whole thing was made with AI, working alongside some of the best people in this advertising industry, on tools that didn't exist anywhere back when I was in school, trying to figure out how marketing even worked. Or that the work would end up at Cannes. And that it made people cry. (Still confirming that last part. Someone told me, and I've decided to believe them.) Advertising is a grind. But every so often, something like this comes along and resets how I think about all of it, and reminds me how fun this creative world can be. Grateful to be at Highdive. And grateful to make that 20-year-old kid proud. #advertising #Google #creativeCassidy Chambers liked thisLast week we wrapped up our presentation with Jeep at the Google Creative Lighthouse Luncheon at Cannes, where we proved that generative AI can do more than automate, it can tell epic, emotional, long-form stories. 🏔️🚙 By leveraging Veo for physics-driven video and cinematic consistency, we turned a rogue tire into an unforgettable protagonist. #GoogleBeach #CannesLions2026 #impossiblead #client Megan Lally, Chad Broude, Mark Gross, Kaley Lambeth, Jen Passaniti, Nathan Monteith, Isabel Long, Mariana Delacqua, Jon Gallo, Matt Collier, Wayne Robinson, Ben Doessel, Frank Viglione, Gaby Bates, Larissa Berringer, Carlos Lowenstein, Joe Flood, Lilly Beck, Lindsay Vetter, Shobin Mathew, E.B. Cassidy Chambers liked thisCassidy Chambers liked thisWe are ranked No. 1 in the nation for the odds that its graduates will go on to found a “unicorn”—a privately held startup valued at $1 billion or more—according to a new analysis from a Stanford University researcher. In a study published this month, Stanford Graduate School of Business professor Ilya Strebulaev determined that University of Utah graduates are about 2.3x as likely to build a unicorn as the average founder. “This recognition reflects what sets the U apart: we are a place where world-class research becomes real companies. Our students and faculty don’t just study big ideas—they build them, and a University of Utah degree gives our graduates one of the strongest chances in the country to launch a company that lasts. We are proud of this distinction and focused on expanding the opportunities behind it.” -President Taylor Randall
