Caroline Kelly Fisher (Shaw) shared thisConsider this my official petition for a Store of the Future to come to Austin, TX! I couldn’t be more excited about this concept and to see the first one open in Ohio. Well done, again, Michaels Stores! 🎉 #retail #michaelsCaroline Kelly Fisher (Shaw) shared thisRetail Today / Retail Renaissance: Michaels Stores delivers its “Store of the Future” to Columbus, Ohio. 💥💥💥 “Project Beacon” is a new “experiential” design and test pilot for their chain of over 1,000 stores. Once again, Michaels Stores show off their creative side. Vignette Displays: A layout meant to spark creativity and inspire projects. “Inspiration Hubs” 💥 New Services: Custom Framing, Same-Day Printing, Balloon Services, and Custom Bars. 💥 Classrooms: Community Events, Workshops, Birthday Parties.💥 Expanded Aisles: Expanded “Knit & Sew” and “Party Shop”. 💥 Store Updates: Modern Graphics, Refreshed Flooring, Lower Fixtures, and Open Layouts. 💥 Enhanced Checkout & Fulfillment: updated registers and technology. Improved BOPIS process and pickup. 💥 Bottomline: It's fantastic looking, #YodaRetail: Exciting, Entertaining, Emotional Experiences through Compelling Merchandise. 🔥🔥🔥 Now the big question: can Michaels Stores deliver the “vision” to every customer? The hard part is in front of them, “Execution from the C-suite to the customer”! Will they support the “vision” with labor and leadership direction? Michaels Stores: Congratulations to the team, a fantastic looking “Store of the Future”. ❤️❤️❤️ PASSION - PEOPLE - PRODUCT - PRESENTATION - PROCESS In the background, Katy Perry's “Firework” 🎼🎼🎼 Kohl's, what a great lesson here, “transformative”!!! 💡💡💡 #retail #YodaRetail #TopRetailExperts

Caroline Kelly Fisher (Shaw) shared thisExcited to see Undergraduate by Hilton launch today! Huge congrats to the Hilton team on this next chapter - an exciting expansion of college-town hospitality and a thoughtful addition to their already stellar portfolio 🎓🏨 #hiltonCaroline Kelly Fisher (Shaw) shared thisToday marks the launch of Hilton's 28th brand: Undergraduate by Hilton. The data tells us there's a customer need that hasn't been fully served in college and university markets with steady, year-round demand. Undergraduate provides a new way to stay in these communities, built on what we've learned with Graduate. It's designed to feel dynamic, approachable, and connected to the places it serves. At the same time, it opens up new possibilities for our owners, bringing a flexible, scalable model to destinations that benefit from strong local character. Excited to see where Undergraduate goes next. https://lnkd.in/e69jNJVw

Caroline Kelly Fisher (Shaw) shared thisBig milestone for us today - introducing Treasure AI! We’re moving beyond CDP into an agentic platform built to help marketers actually execute, not just analyze. I’m most excited about what this means for our clients: faster time to value and less lift to get there. https://www.treasure.ai #treasureai #treasuredataCaroline Kelly Fisher (Shaw) shared thisWhat happens when you combine 15 years of customer data with agentic AI? You get an AI Decision Engine. Today, Treasure Data becomes Treasure AI — an Agentic Experience Platform where unified customer data, ML models & analytics, business context and agentic reasoning work together to help marketing teams plan smarter, optimize faster, and act on real customer intelligence. This isn't another AI wrapper. It's data-driven strategy at the speed of thought. treasure.ai #TreasureAI #ThisIsTreasureAI #TreasureAIDecisionEngine

Caroline Kelly Fisher (Shaw) shared thisFour years at Treasure Data 🎉 I took this selfie on my first day in February 2022. Poppy (my cat) and I had no idea how many incredible people we were about to meet - first through a screen, and eventually in person (Poppy politely declined all travel). Since then, I’ve had the privilege of working with talented colleagues who consistently raise the bar and forward-thinking clients who trust us with their most important initiatives. And somewhere along the way, life grew too - I gained a husband, we added a puppy, and a second cat joined the adventure. Very grateful for the people who’ve made these past four years meaningful. Excited for what we’ll build together in Year 5! #TreasureData #WorkAnniversary

Caroline Kelly Fisher (Shaw) reacted on thisCaroline Kelly Fisher (Shaw) reacted on thisThe Hospitality Space is BIZARRE --> SO SO SPECIAL. This week at the Texas Restaurant Association Show I got the most refreshing reminder about what makes the Hospitality space so so special. In an industry which is known for being exceptionally competitive, there were SO many folks going out of their way to help each other succeed. From Restauranteurs who were sharing best practices they'd learned via hard-won mistakes to longtime friends like Vanessa Duran, Louis Rainey, and countless others who were selflessly offering up their time to make the industry stronger. The sheer generosity of hospitality folks doesn't exist only when you walk into their restaurants; it's core to who they are. For my small part, I gave a presentation called AI 101 for Restaurant Owners, which was largely a primer on how to use Claude. And in the spirit of the incredible hospitality I saw from the restaurant owners, here’s that presentation. No email link requirement. No demo request. Just use it to be smarter, faster, better. https://lnkd.in/gtRu-QQy #AllinItTogether

Irene has spent her career building partnership and customer success motions across retail, consulting, and tech. Her through-line across all of it: begin with the customer in mind. She has a clear view of where most AWS partnerships break down: “Everyone wants to co-sell, but the co-build and co-market steps are what drive the funding available through AWS. A holistic build, market, sell strategy is what separates partnerships that compound from the ones that stall.” Read more about Irene’s background and what she’s building at Skematic: https://lnkd.in/e2w2Kei4

Caroline Kelly Fisher (Shaw) reacted on thisCaroline Kelly Fisher (Shaw) reacted on thisExcited to share that I’ve started a new chapter as an Enterprise Account Executive at Attentive. A huge thank you to everyone who helped make this opportunity happen and to everyone who’s already made me feel so welcome. The more people I met throughout the interview process, the more confident I became that this was the right place for my next chapter. From my very first conversations, it was clear that Attentive has something special. Not just because of the people and culture, but because of the vision for where customer engagement is headed. Over the past five years, I’ve had the opportunity to work with enterprise organizations across industries including hospitality, retail, healthcare, financial services, fitness, media, technology, automotive, CPG, and more. While every business is different, I kept seeing the same challenge. How do you build stronger, more meaningful relationships with your customers in a world where expectations continue to rise while earning their attention becomes increasingly difficult? One thing that’s already stood out to me is that the conversation at Attentive isn’t about sending more messages—it’s about helping organizations better understand their customers so every interaction feels more relevant, timely, and personal. What especially drew me to Attentive is its belief that customer engagement starts with customer identity. By combining mobile-first identity, real-time customer data, AI-powered decisioning, and omnichannel engagement, brands can move beyond static campaigns and create truly personalized customer experiences at scale. As AI continues to reshape marketing, I don’t think the companies that win will simply be the ones that send more messages or adopt the latest AI tools. I believe the real competitive advantage will belong to organizations that can truly understand their customers, earn their trust, and use that understanding to create better experiences across every interaction. That’s the vision that drew me to Attentive, and I’m incredibly excited to learn from such a talented team, partner with innovative organizations across, and help shape what the next generation of customer engagement looks like. Here’s to the next chapter. 🚀

Caroline Kelly Fisher (Shaw) liked thisCaroline Kelly Fisher (Shaw) liked thisThe first time I got fired, my boss called me into the boardroom late at night. He said something I've never forgotten - and never will. I'd been at his corporate bankruptcy firm for six months straight out of law school. It was a total mismatch. I couldn't tell you three things about corporate bankruptcy. I hated the work. He was a great lawyer and a great firm — it just wasn't me, and we both knew it. When he sat me down that night with another partner, I braced for the worst. Instead, he told me he believed I could have a great legal career. That he'd support me however he could. And then he said something I wasn't expecting at all: I was welcome to stay at the firm as long as I needed - keep my office, use my firm email - so that when I was looking for a new job, it wouldn't look like I'd been fired. It would just look like someone moving on. Who does that?! I didn't take him up on it. I moved back to Austin and started my own firm instead. But I've thought about that moment more times than I can count. He didn't have to do that. Most people don't. When someone isn't working out, the easiest thing is to cut them loose and move on. The harder thing - the better thing - is to remember that it's almost never about character. It's usually just a bad fit. And a bad fit doesn't mean someone doesn't deserve a fair shot at what comes next. I randomly looked him up last night. He passed away three months ago. 68 years old. Nobody told me. Nobody would have - it was such a different chapter of my life. But I'm glad I know. And I'm glad I get to say this: He was a good man. The way he handled that firing stuck with me for 20 years and changed how I treat people on the way out the door. Rest well Patrick Neligan.

Caroline Kelly Fisher (Shaw) liked thisCaroline Kelly Fisher (Shaw) liked thisAI has flattened the playing field, every team can generate content, optimize campaigns, and automate decisions. So if everyone has access to the same intelligence, why do some brands still win? Because the advantage is no longer in the tools, it’s in what can’t be automated. The brands breaking through today feel intentional, cultural, and distinctly human. At ADWEEK House Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, A roundtable of CMOs explored where that edge truly lives, what should never be delegated to AI, and how leading teams are building narrative, taste, and conviction to stand out in an AI-first world. Caroline Kelly Fisher (Shaw) reacted on thisCaroline Kelly Fisher (Shaw) reacted on thisEvery April, we head to Scottsdale to celebrate birthdays, recharge, and get ready for the year ahead. Beyond the pool, dinners, and shopping, one tradition never changes: hiking Camelback Mountain. There's something about standing at the top that gives you perspective. Away from the meetings and constant pace of business, it's easier to think about what's changing, what matters, and where our industry is headed. This year's hike sparked an idea that turned into months of work at NexChapter. The more time I spend with retailers, the more convinced I become that AI isn't the story. Better decisions are. That's the thinking behind the framework we've been developing with retailers over the past several months. Last week, we hosted our inaugural Intersect AI executive roundtable at our Des Moines office. I'm grateful to the retail leaders who joined us, challenged our thinking, and helped shape what comes next. You'll be seeing more from NexChapter as we continue building an AI-forward firm and sharing practical frameworks that help retailers navigate this next era. Sometimes the best ideas don't come from a conference room. They come from climbing a mountain and finally seeing the bigger picture.

The biggest GTM leak is premature outreach. Reps reach out to just one stakeholder, too early, or even to the wrong accounts. No wonder reply rates drop, and even when they build pipeline, it doesn’t convert because the foundation wasn't right. What’s missing: a way to make critical upstream decisions before pipeline exists. Our live walkthrough today with Rajesh Gupta and Bhavna Sachar will show how a pre-pipeline system addresses this. Comment “Demo” and we’ll share the live demo invite. 📆 18 March, 8 AM PST | 11 AM EST #CRO #pipeline #B2B #GTM #demo
