Cameron Coon shared thisAs study complexity increases, the hidden cost of inefficient hand-offs between study teams is becoming a primary bottleneck for drug development. Relying on spreadsheets and manual listings isn't just a minor inconvenience; it’s a scalability issue that impacts the speed at which we bring therapies to patients. Join us in San Diego on May 5th or San Carlos on May 7th for a deep dive into how Clinical, DM, and Safety teams are breaking down these silos.Cameron Coon shared thisTrials are increasing in both complexity & cost. If we're going to solve this ever-growing problem we need to have a frank conversation about one of the primary culprits: inefficient hand-offs between study teams. If you're managing a study through spreadsheets & e-mails or manually preparing/reconciling listings by Excel, then this Forum is for you. We are hosting our 2nd Clinical, Data & Safety Forum in San Diego on Tuesday, May 5th. We'll be bringing together Clinical Operations, Data Management, Safety & IT together under roof to discuss how we can advance the industry forward by removing the friction that exists between study teams. Please join us and hear from an amazing line-up of speakers on how they're advancing their programs forward while simultaneously moving away from Outlook & Excel. Paula Bradshaw, Shahbaz Chaudhary, Silpa Reddy, Jon Young, Nikhil Joshi, Naman Mehrotra, Keri Gordon and Christine Kanalis will share their stories. You can register here: https://lnkd.in/gSST95TF

Cameron Coon reposted thisCameron Coon reposted thisLast January, our teams at Veeva assessed the landscape and identified that functional silos were hindering study teams from conducting trials as efficiently as possible. We examined our messaging to individual stakeholders and recognized our role in the messaging challenge. This led to the creation of our clinical, safety, and data forums, aimed at demonstrating how collaboration within a connected ecosystem can enhance trial efficiency and improve data quality for everyone involved, from sponsors to CROs and sites. We initially tested this concept with one event on each coast and were pleasantly surprised by the positive response. We are now expanding to four locations where you can hear stories from like-minded professionals in the industry and discover strategies to optimize your study and company’s trial operations. As we often emphasize internally, Execution Matters Most. Below are the locations, and we encourage you to join us. https://lnkd.in/eDFG9sBv

Cameron Coon liked thisProud to finally share publicly what the Azul 3D team has been building over the past several years. After initially introducing HARP™ to the market, we made the difficult decision to pivot and effectively return to stealth mode so we could focus on one of the largest and most technically demanding opportunities in additive manufacturing: prescription ophthalmic lenses. I am incredibly grateful to our team for taking on this challenge with persistence, creativity, and discipline, and to our investors for giving us the support and time required to tackle the optical market properly. We still have a lot of work ahead, but I am more confident than ever in what we are building and excited about the impact this technology can have on the future of lens manufacturing.Cameron Coon liked thisWe were excited to share publicly, for the first time, what we've been building over the past several years. With more than 1.3 billion custom prescription lenses manufactured annually, the ophthalmic industry represents the world's largest opportunity for mass-customized 3D printing. Yet no technology has been able to deliver the optical quality, material performance, and manufacturing throughput the industry demands. HARP™, with its continuous printing process and precise thermal control, enables the next generation of lens manufacturing. https://lnkd.in/dnVK_EhJ

Cameron Coon liked thisCameron Coon liked thisFor years, we worked to move the industry toward an "active" TMF by shifting from a passive archive to a live workspace. We’ve made incredible progress, but a new shift is already here. The next era of clinical operations isn't active, it's autonomous. With agentic AI, the TMF is evolving into a self-correcting central hub. But here is the hard truth: your AI is only as good as the foundation it stands on. Without clean data and cross-system connectivity, agentic AI won’t deliver the value biopharmas need. In my latest piece for Clinical Research News, I outline the 5 ways autonomous TMF will reshape operations: Continuous Compliance: Shifting from reactive inspection scrambles to machine-readable readiness. Conversational Interface: Querying the TMF using natural language instead of manual folder navigation. Automated Classification: Eliminating manual indexing by auto-matching documents to the reference model. Predictive Gap Analysis: Finding missing or incomplete records in real time across EDC and CTMS. Strategic Oversight: Transitioning study teams from manual triage to high-value exception management. The organizations investing in platform-level connectivity today are building the autonomous TMF of tomorrow. The average AE spends 3x more time on prep work than selling 🤯 Territory planning, digging through account data, outreach that goes unanswered… it eats up a rep's day and eats into your pipeline. That's why WRITER built a sales super agent — one that works across your systems and playbooks to: Build territory plans → Surface top accounts and create a data-backed action plan Automate deep research → Deliver executive briefs with key talking points in seconds Send personalized outreach → Emails and LinkedIn messages that actually get responses Streamline call prep → Walk into every meeting fully briefed Ramp faster, build a bigger pipeline, and win more deals. Made a Gong hiring post and received 225 resumes in 72 hours. Went through every one last week. RIP to the inbox. Here's my absolute best advice.... 𝟰 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗗𝗼 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝘂𝗺𝗲 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗳𝘆 𝗔𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀: Use metrics like revenue growth, quota attainment, or deal sizes to showcase your impact. Anything to demonstrate being a top 10% performer like President's Clubs, #1 for the month/quarter, etc. 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗥𝗲𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀: Include role-specific hard skills (e.g., MEDDPICC, Salesforce, Gong) and soft skills (e.g., negotiation, communication). 𝗨𝘀𝗲 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗩𝗲𝗿𝗯𝘀: Start bullet points with strong verbs like “achieved,” “led,” “increased." 𝗞𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻: Use a professional layout, bold key details, and save as a PDF for consistent formatting. 𝟰 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗡𝗢𝗧 𝘁𝗼 𝗗𝗼 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝘂𝗺𝗲 𝗗𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝗕𝗲 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗰: Avoid vague phrases like “team player” without concrete examples to back them up. 𝗔𝘃𝗼𝗶𝗱 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿: Keep descriptions concise and impactful. Don’t overcrowd your resume with unnecessary details. 𝗗𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝗜𝗴𝗻𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀: Always highlight career growth within organizations, listing separate roles if you’ve been promoted. 𝗗𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝗘𝘅𝗰𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝗣𝗮𝗴𝗲: Stick to one page unless you have 10+ years of experience or can truly back it up with significant accomplishments. To make it super easy - I built a resume template for anyone to use. Can grab it here: https://lnkd.in/gESuWPBW What other advice do you have?
