Then sitting with Order and seeing the first branding concepts come to life. And finally opening the doors to friends and family thinking “oh shit, this is real” Restaurants are such deeply personal things. You’re saying: here’s our taste, our care, our point of view, our hearts, souls. Hope you feel something too. (fingers crossed) What’s been most emotional is watching people get it. Seeing people connect with the atmosphere, the music, the lighting, the food, the energy of the room, people coming back. Watching my husband, chef Kevin Gregory Finch share his talent with the world. Watching our GM Charlotte Mirzoeff create warmth and generosity around wine and hospitality in a way only she can. Hospitality has reminded me how human experiences are built through hundreds of tiny decisions and interactions, some intentional, some impossible to control. The weather that day. The song playing at the right moment. A seat that feels comfortable enough to stay another hour. Someone arriving exhausted and leaving lighter. I spend most of my career in technology and marketing, thinking about systems, behavior, and how people interact with tools and ideas. Arthur has deepened that perspective for me in a completely different way. It’s made me think more about atmosphere, emotion, memory, and what it means to make people feel welcomed, relaxed, safe, joyful...human. Insanely proud of what we have built together. And very grateful to our team and everyone who has walked through the doors so far. Especially our Greenpoint neighbors. It's still surreal seeing our little project included in places like Eater's Best New Restaurants in Brooklyn, The Infatuation Hit List, VinePair, New York Magazine's Grub Street and Wine Spectator. More than anything, it feels meaningful watching something that once only existed in our heads become part of people’s lives in the quiet ways we hoped it might. Ken Collins and I will be partnering to lead our Enterprise Technology and Operations function at the bank. I’m incredibly grateful to Jennifer Smith, who is leaving after 20 years with the Bank. She is an incredible mentor, advocate, and friend who I will miss working with. She leaves impossibly big shoes to fill, and I can only hope to carry on her vision for a modern bank in the years to come. When I interviewed with Jennifer, we connected immediately on the vision for modern banking, and I was impressed with the efforts that had been undertaken to modernize the core, which most banks don’t even attempt. #zionsbancorporationBrittanee Lee Taylor reacted on thisZions Bancorporation has announced a new leadership model for its Enterprise Technology and Operations team, with Margaret M. stepping into the role of Chief Information Officer and Ken Collins serving as Chief Transformation and Operations Officer. Margaret joined Zions two years ago as Chief Technology Officer after many years in the banking technology field with Capital One and Discover. Ken joined Zions 24 years ago and has held numerous roles within ETO during that time. Both Margaret and Ken are highly qualified with deep experience in technology and operations and are well-respected throughout our organization and the industry. Their partnership positions us well to continue to be a leader in banking technology. This new leadership structure was introduced after Jennifer Smith announced she would be leaving Zions, following an impactful 20-year career with the bank.
