I had never held a title like this before and honestly, I felt the same way I did when I first pivoted into cybersecurity - overwhelmed, unsure, and wondering if I was truly ready. But here’s what I’ve learned...you're never fully ready for the next role, you grow into it by doing it. You build confidence through action. 💯 By embracing that mindset, I not only coordinated a successful event with over 30 amazing attendees, but I also stepped into a new chapter in my career with a dream team and a supervisor I truly admire. 🥹 Most importantly, I stayed rooted in what matters, leaning on my support system, asking questions, being open to learning, and showing up as my authentic self. I know I’m not everyone’s cup of tea, and I don’t have all the answers but I do have a story, a purpose, and a passion for building a community. That mindset also led to an incredible partnership with Megan Rutlen with Lead the Pack: Women in Tech Connect. What started as a small idea blossomed into something much bigger: a genuine partnership rooted in shared values, collaboration, and purpose. We brought Pathways into Cybersecurity to life. A vibrant and welcoming event grounded in real conversations and building bridges. I was honored to co-moderate this event and introduce a phenomenal panel Jaspreet Rodriguez, MSc., Carmen Marsh, Heather Stoner, Louis Conley who shared their journeys, lessons learned, and FREE resources to help anyone upskill from wherever they are in their journey. 🌱 Huge thank you to everyone who supported and attended. The energy was contagious and I’m already looking forward to what’s next! Back in the Bay this week for a s☀️nny Splisco event and getting SASE with Chris Riviere and the Optiv SAs! Great discussion around architecture and GTM. Shout out to Jeff Warburton, Garrett Pederson, and Robert for showcasing the Optiv Market System (OMS) to our field teams. Thank you to Briana Farro and Matthew J Joseff, CFE for that fantastic Splunk+XDR story. This synergy 🌐 will harness the true power of our partnership for bigger better things to come. The gorgeous weather, beautiful SF views, and bumping into good friends at the Cisco Meraki office were just the side perks. 💚 #BetterTogether #PowerOfPartnership #wearecisco .:|:.:|:. #OptiveNation

We were around 400 people working and for me joining the company was a dream come true! Thanks to Lee Klarich, Nir Zuk and Brett Eldridge for allowing me to live the dream all these years and made me feel part of a great family! Thanks Marc Benoit for being my brother from another mother and many more that we will stick together forever. It's time to take a break for me. I joined the company with the mission to help customers to move from their legacy firewalls to Panos and I developed the first MigrationTool a.k.a Expedition, I tried to always being available and help hundreds of customers, partner, SEs, ProServ and I enjoyed every moment, thanks to my Expedition Team to keep the great work over the years. I'll miss you all. See you soon ;-)

After 16 years, today I chose to leave Cisco for a new adventure. I am grateful to you all and excited for my next chapter! #wearecisco As Cisco has played a massive role connecting the world, we are certainly due credit for truly making it a smaller place. I am honored to have worked with my colleagues to help our customers along the way. Please do not be a stranger.

We saved $384K by turning off a forgotten test service, but the real win was how it happened. Our FinOps team noticed something odd in Azure Marketplace. Instead of letting it slide, they partnered with Engineering. A quick conversation, a bit of digging and they found the issue. Here’s what I take from this: - The biggest wins often come from quiet, cross-functional collaboration. - Technical debt isn’t just code, it’s also unused services, over-provisioned licenses, and unowned spend. - It’s easy to say “FinOps is everyone’s job,” but that only works when teams ask questions and act as one. Whether you are a GM or product leader, when’s the last time your team asked if your spend is still adding value? #Leadership #SaaS #FinOps #EngineeringExcellence #CloudWaste #Accountability #CrossFunctionalCollaboration #ProductOperations

👉 Your container could show 500 CVEs — yet only a handful may truly impact your production environment. This blog highlights how CleanStart and Sysdig bridge the gap between build and runtime, utilizing cryptographic provenance, fortified base images, and runtime insight to emphasize genuine exploitability rather than merely counting CVEs. If you’re focused on supply chain trust, runtime risk, or minimizing security distractions, this is a must-read: https://okt.to/qv4PU0

𝐎𝐧𝐞 𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐲 𝐯𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐫𝐮𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝐧𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐲. "Simplify everything" was Meraki's north star. And it's the unlock most companies forget and underestimate. Here's what they understood that others missed: 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐦: IT teams spent 80% of their time just "keeping the lights on". Complex command-line interfaces. GTM motion that was a heavy lift and full of friction. Weeks waiting for POC equipment. 6-8 week manufacturing delays. Zero time for innovation. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐤𝐢 𝐃𝐢𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞: ✓ Cloud-based dashboard (manage from anywhere) ✓ Intuitive interface (no expensive certifications needed) ✓ Next-day trial shipping (not 6-week waits) ✓ Plug-and-play setup (pre-configured by SEs while in transit) But here's the masterstroke... 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐦𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐮𝐦: Day 1: Customer sees demo, eyes widen 👀 Day 2: Trial kit arrives at their office 📦 Day 17: If they love it, they just buy it (no returning equipment) 💵 This closed-loop system created: → High demo-to-trial rates → 70% trial-to-purchase conversion → 30-90 day sales cycles (not 6+ months) As a seller this was magical as it created 𝘦𝘹𝘤𝘪𝘵𝘦𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 and 𝘮𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘶𝘮, two core ingredients to closing more deals faster! 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐟𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐞𝐬: Simplicity isn't just about your product. It's about every touchpoint in your customer journey. Meraki simplified: - Product complexity - Sales processes - Operational friction - Customer experience This 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭 𝐬𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐭𝐲 combined with 𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐬𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐲 created 𝑮𝑻𝑴 𝑽𝒆𝒍𝒐𝒄𝒊𝒕𝒚 🚀 Pretty impactful core company value don't you reckon? 𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐬𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐮𝐧𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐤 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐭𝐡? 𝘍𝘰𝘭𝘭𝘰𝘸 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘎𝘛𝘔 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘱 𝘪𝘯𝘴𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵𝘴 2𝘹/𝘸𝘦𝘦𝘬 📈 #GTMStrategy #SalesLeadership #TechFounders
