Brett DeVita reposted thisBrett DeVita reposted thisI always tell people that Trout National is more than just a golf club — it’s a brand. We’re #hiring a Brand and Membership Manager to help shape, grow, and protect that brand as we head into our first full golf season. This is a hands-on role working directly with me, touching everything from brand voice and storytelling to membership experience and strategy. If you want to join me in building something special and help define what a modern private club brand looks like, join us below.

Brett DeVita reposted thisBrett DeVita reposted this2025 was a year of real progress. The most significant milestone was completing the course build at Trout National - The Reserve —an effort years in the making. Welcoming members for preview play in October was a defining moment; hearing their feedback and seeing the course experienced as intended made the vision feel real. Being recognized by Golf Digest, Forbes, Bloomberg, LinksGems and others has been incredibly rewarding, but the real validation has come from seeing the course resonate with our members. Thank you to LaBar Golf and all of our partners who brought expertise and commitment to every phase of the build. We’re excited to continue the momentum as we prepare for our grand opening in April 2026. And a huge shout out to my team Mark DeVita and Joseph Wrabel, CPA and our Trout National team David Altemus PGA, CCM, Danny Lewis, and Mike Kordonsky for making it possible.

Brett DeVita liked thisBrett DeVita liked thisJuly is Sarcoma Awareness Month, and this year, we are doing more than raising awareness. We are launching Research Changes Rare, our July 2026 campaign built on one belief: synovial sarcoma is rare, but rare does not have to mean forgotten, underfunded, or untreatable. Research is what changes that. Swipe through to see what this month holds and how you can be part of it. Here are the dates to mark: July 8 - Wear Yellow Wednesday. Put on something yellow and share it with #WearYellowWednesday and #ResearchChangesRare. July 17 - The first-ever National Synovial Sarcoma Day, officially recognised nationally for the first time. We are bringing the community together in Philadelphia from 1:00 to 4:00 PM EST. RSVP via link in bio. July 19 - 9th Annual Sarcoma Exchange. A free virtual symposium on clinical trials and how they benefit the sarcoma community. Register via link in bio. July 24 - Light Up for Sarcoma. Cities go yellow in solidarity. Check your city, take a photo, and share with #LightUpForSarcoma. Follow along this month. Share what you see. Help us make synovial sarcoma impossible to ignore. https://lnkd.in/eyGXGB2G #ResearchChangesRare #SarcomaAwarenessMonth2026 #SynovialSarcoma #SAM2026 #SarcomaAwarenessMonth #RareCancers #NationalSynovialSarcomaDay

Brett DeVita liked thisBrett DeVita liked thisGreat to be back in NYC this week at the MBA Secondary Marketing Conference representing Optimal Blue always valuable to reconnect with clients, partners, and peers across the industry. Despite the recent move in rates, the tone this week felt consistent: less reacting, more executing. The industry is firmly in a “heads down, get things done” mode. Three themes came up repeatedly across panels, meetings, and hallway conversations: VantageScore & The Credit Evolution: As the industry prepares for the transition to updated credit scoring models, the conversation has shifted from "why" to "how." Maximizing execution in the secondary market means getting ahead of how these models impact pricing accuracy, risk assessment, and borrower eligibility. There is still a fair amount of questions out there about gamification and if in the short term if the cost to the borrower will increase. Everyone has a Non-QM playbook now: Non-QM isn’t just a alternative niche anymore; it’s a critical pillar for growth in a tight purchase market. The secondary market's appetite for these assets remains strong despite some negative private credit related headlines. Success originating Non-QM requires a thorough strategy including eligibility, pricing, risk management, and trading. It's not enough to just lock best efforts. AI Moving from Novelty to Production: We are past the hype phase of Generative AI and it's all about adoption now. It seems like every lender and vendor has released some AI functionality. How many people are using it and what is the return of the investment were two questions I heard consistently on this topic. It will be interesting to see who is actually able to turn this into better business performance at scale first. Optimal Blue has been focusing on all three of these trends for sometime so I'm excited to see what our future holds and I'm looking forward to seeing everyone in Chicago soon!

Brett DeVita liked thisWhat an awesome week at Andromeda Software Inc.'s Thrive event in Cancun. I had the opportunity to represent Optimal Blue on stage and share how we’re thinking about growth and innovation. Always happy to talk about Optimal Blue (ha!)—but the biggest takeaway from the week was actually listening. No matter the geography or vertical, a lot of the same challenges are showing up for business leaders. The best practices and perspectives shared—whether from operators or capital allocators—were incredibly valuable. Safe to say my notes app on my iPhone is completely full. Looking forward to next year!Brett DeVita liked thisPermanent Home. Powered by People. Andromeda is thousands of people working toward their own growth and value goals. When we say we are a permanent home, this is what we mean. Not just the buy-and-hold philosophy, but the people who get to keep building inside it. The technology and the operations are vital, but everything we do starts with our people. #Andromeda #ConstellationSoftware #VerticalMarketSoftware #PermanentHome #PeopleFirst #BuyAndHoldForever

Brett DeVita liked thisBrett DeVita liked thisThere was a man who worked at the Welsford Company for a very long time. His name was John. John had a saying: "It's all in the details." He said it so often, and it was so true, that when we built out our new office we put it right on the wall. Not as decoration. As a reminder. Every single day. Nick from Alloy Valves and Control (AVCO) came to visit us recently and I had to take him on a tour. When we got to that wall, I thought about John. In this business, the details are everything. The right spec. The right material. The right pressure rating. The right lead time. One wrong detail and a project gets delayed, a system fails, or a customer does not come back. John understood that before most of us were in the industry. This one is for him. Kurt Hanusa, Amr Shweiky, Josh Kirk #ValveMan #AVCO #ItsAllInTheDetails #IndustrialDistribution #CompanyCulture

Brett DeVita liked thisBrett DeVita liked thisAlmost two years ago, I stepped into a completely new chapter. What’s interesting is… I almost walked away from the industry entirely. After more than 20 years in fitness, wellness, performance, and entrepreneurship, part of me felt called to try something different. A fresh environment. A new challenge. A different identity. But sometimes life keeps pulling you back toward the thing you’re actually built for. At the time, I was becoming deeply obsessed with longevity, recovery, and where the future of health was heading. And I saw a wave coming that many people still don’t fully see yet. When you combine that with timing, opportunity, and the right people entering your life, everything just aligned. Fast forward, and every “deposit” I’d made over the last two decades suddenly mattered. The relationships. The community. The lessons. The failures. The understanding of science and human behaviour. The experience building premium wellness businesses. The skill to create impactful events and experiences. The understanding of brick-and-mortar. The world of professional sports. The obsession with longevity, performance, and recovery. Everything connected. And this last year has honestly been nothing short of incredible. * Working alongside some of the best athletes in the world. * Collaborating with visionary leaders and brands shaping the future of wellness and longevity. * Helping create experiences and spaces that genuinely impact how people feel, recover, perform, and live. * Seeing firsthand where health, recovery, technology, hospitality, sport, and human connection are all heading. Most of all, it’s reminded me that the best opportunities often sit at the intersection of experience, timing, relationships, and energy. The future of longevity and human performance is being built right in front of our eyes. And I genuinely believe we’re only scratching the surface. Thank you to everyone who’s been part of this ride so far. 🙏🏻❤️🚀
