Robbie Breaux shared thisClosed sales were up a whopping 0.9% for the month of May in Lafayette Parish, with sales up for the year 6.5%. Dollar volume is up 5.6% month over month and 11.1% year to date. The new listings are down nearly 11%, decreasing the amount of homes people have to choose from for the month of May. Homes coming off the market or pending sales were down 7% But what's interesting is we got great news on Monday with a preliminary agreement in place for the US and Iran, which bodes very well for mortgage rates to decline over the next several months. It's not officially signed, but things will continue to look up for the Lafayette Real Estate market. If you're interested in finding out what your equity position looks like, shoot me a DM.

Last Monday, we honored my daughter's passing with the first annual Campbell Classic Golf Tournament. It was a huge success! It was HOT, but it was a beautiful day filled with golf and good food. Thank you to all of our family, friends, colleagues, and my clients for showing up to support in a big way. The turnout was way beyond what I could have ever expected. It was truly a very fun day for my family and a beautiful way to remember Campbell. I also wanted to use this as a reminder: Be kind and show love to everyone.
