Savannah Energy’s FY2025 update reflects a year of disciplined execution, operational momentum, and balance sheet progress across both its Hydrocarbons and Power divisions. Operational Performance (Hydrocarbons Division) The business delivered average gross production of 18.8 Kboepd, with gas accounting for 83% of output, reinforcing Savannah’s position as a gas-focused supplier in #Nigeria At Stubb Creek, production increased 13% year-on-year to 3.0 Kbopd following the SIPEC acquisition, demonstrating effective integration and optimisation. A key milestone was the delivery and full commissioning of the Uquo CPF compression system approximately 10% under budget, a strong indicator of cost control and project discipline. The Uquo NE development well is nearing completion, targeting first gas by Q2 2026, while site preparation has begun at Uquo South. Importantly, reserves were upgraded materially: +21% 2P gas at Uquo and +29% 2P oil at Stubb Creek. In Niger, the enhanced R3 East development plan now targets a plateau production of approximately 10 Kbopd — effectively doubling prior assumptions. Financial and Corporate Highlights FY2025 revenue reached US$235.0m, with cash collections rising 12% year-on-year to US$278.0m. Trade receivables declined 6% to US$507.2m, reflecting improved working capital management. The company also made meaningful progress refinancing debt facilities, strengthening its financial foundation. Strategic Outlook Overall, 2025 was a year of execution: expanding production capacity, upgrading reserves, improving cash flow, and maintaining capital discipline. With expansion programmes underway and production ramp-up expected into 2026, Savannah appears positioned for measured growth while continuing to advance renewable energy projects across Africa. For stakeholders and investors, the message is clear: operational delivery is translating into stronger fundamentals and a clearer growth trajectory

Rice University's Master Of Energy Economics is powered by a deeply rooted partnership of the Baker Institute Center for Energy Studies (CES)and the Economics Department in Rice University School of Social Sciences. The Master of Energy Economics (MEECON) is a 12-month (40-hour course requirement), full-time professional master’s program designed to educate future leaders and strategic thinkers in the energy sector. It has attracted students from around the globe as well from the U.S., many with several years of work experience in the energy sector as engineers, consultants, business developers and government policy-analysts. The program is co-led by Ken Medlock, Senior director of CES, Peter Hartley, George A. Peterkin Professor of Economics. “The Center for Energy Studies in the Baker Institute has incredibly deep roots in economics,” said Medlock. “Everything we do is linked to fundamental analysis, connecting that with data. It's one thing to understand theory, but application of theory really matters, particularly in understanding where the commercial intersections across the energy landscape are in the policy realm.
