We leaned fully into the meticulous, beautiful world of practical stop motion photography. Every single element requires micro adjustments, rock solid lighting consistency, and an obsession with detail. There’s no "undo" button when you’re dealing with real ingredients under studio lights. But the payoff? An organic, tactile texture that digital effects simply can’t replicate. It gives the products a sensory, human touch that stops the scroll and makes you instantly crave a home cooked meal. It always makes me stop for a second. My grandparents lived just off the river, so I spent a lot of time crossing River Road, climbing the levee, and going down to the riverbank. I could sit there for hours watching the ships and barges make their way up and down. Even back then, I knew there was something special about that place. All these years later, it's still one of my favorite views. These photos always remind me to slow down and think about those memories. Hope y’all enjoy the views as much as I do 😊

JEDCO is building Louisiana's first dedicated food and beverage incubator. $8.7 million in secured funding, full commercial kitchens, packaging facility, open in 2027. Ever since Hurricane Ida destroyed the last facility, there hasn't been one. The nearest comparable facility is at LSU in Baton Rouge, and there's a waiting list. For founders, it isn’t enough to have a great product. To sell food commercially you need to produce in a licensed, inspected facility. Without certification you can't get on a retailer's shelf, fulfill a large order, or prove to an investor that your unit economics work at volume. Retailer interest means nothing if you get a purchase order and can't fulfill it. A buyer at Whole Foods or Rouses isn't waiting for you to figure out your production situation. Louisiana already generates over $4.7 billion in food and beverage sales from visitors alone. For a food and beverage founder, that's a home market most states would envy. At Boot64, we're already invested in CPG. I've learned that capital is almost never the bottleneck, especially in the early days. Founders need access to physical infrastructure that gets them from idea to sellable product. Louisiana has the culture, the market, and now the infrastructure. The next generation of Gulf South food and beverage brands is going to be built right here.
