In this role, I’ll be supporting People Studios on the Beauty, Style, & Entertainment Brand Partnerships team, gaining hands-on experience in production and creative coordination within a fast-paced media environment. This opportunity brings together so many of my interests, marking an exciting step forward as I begin building my career in the industry with America’s largest digital and print publisher. A huge thank you to Sarah Collins, Hannah Chambley, Matt Toscano, Sara Luckey, Andrea Tenborg and Aqiyla-Kumar Moody for supporting me throughout this process. It has been a lifelong dream of mine to explore my creative potential in New York City's fashion industry and I look forward to advancing this perspective at Parsons, an institution known for its global impact, leadership in design and business, and commitment to sustainability. I am thankful for the guidance from all who have supported me through this admissions process and through my time as an undergraduate at Florida State University. Bill Maslyn reacted on thisBill Maslyn reacted on thisI am excited to share my recent graduation from Florida State University, where I earned a B.S. in Hospitality and Tourism Management along with a secondary major in Communication Media Studies, graduating magna cum laude. These past four years have been more than I could have ever imagined, filled with meaningful growth, challenges, and opportunities. As I close out this chapter, I’ve been reflecting on my experience studying abroad in Florence, Italy, through Florida State University International Programs. The semester I spent immersed in the city’s rich history and culture was one of the most meaningful and transformative parts of my journey. I had the opportunity to travel to eight countries and explore many more incredible cities while completing coursework rooted in Italy’s history, language, and culture. I’m incredibly grateful to have participated in programs that immersed me in the Florence community, connecting me with families and students through weekly meals and meaningful discussions on Italian life and traditions. This was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience that I will always carry with me. Building relationships across cultures has a powerful way of expanding your perspective and deepening your appreciation for the world around you. I couldn’t be more grateful for this experience, as well as many more unforgettable memories from these past four years. I’m sincerely grateful for everyone who supported and guided me along the way! These experiences, organizations, and all the people within the Tallahassee community have given me invaluable connections that leave me both excited and prepared for everything ahead. Noles forever!!

I spent so long immersed in Westeros, Essos, and the Lands of Ice and Fire when I created these - it’s wonderful to see others immerse themselves in the exhibit.

When I joined People Inc. in the middle of the pandemic, I had no idea how much the experience would shape my career. I'm deeply grateful for the mentors who invested in me, the teammates who became lifelong friends, and the opportunity to work with some of the world's most recognizable publications. Over the past six years, I've had the chance to do work I never imagined, from appearing live on The Weather Channel with Jim Cantore, to producing viral social content, to building a world class social strategy and operations team, to leading social strategy around major cultural moments including New York Fashion Week, the Oscars, and the Food & Wine Classic. During my time at People Inc., the work I loved most was helping brands cut through increasingly crowded feeds with thoughtful, strategic content. That's the foundation of Carrot Cake Digital. I partner with brands and creators to develop social strategies that are rooted in audience insights, creative storytelling, and measurable business goals. We had the honor of documenting Citizen’s 50 years of #EcoDrive light technology with this project. Shout out to Katy Bano, Jacqui Gifford and Jennie Gilman, for the idea spark that started it all! To our family at Citizen - Carla Wilke, Michelle Leo, Rachel Caruso, Melissa Taylor Ross - thank you for entrusting us with such an important piece of Citizen’s legacy. To our People Inc. The IAB Tech Lab is proud to release the Live Event Ad Playbook (LEAP), focused on powering live events across CTV and streaming environments. LEAP marks the first in a series of new tools from the IAB Tech Lab’s Programmatic Supply Chain Working Group, starting with the Concurrent Streams API, built to support concurrency tracking and reduce waste in real-time live environments.
