Betty O. reacted on thisBetty O. reacted on thisAfter nearly 26 years in government relations—most of that time calling Washington, DC home—I’m about 36 hours away from driving into my next chapter. It’s hard to put into words what this season of life has meant to me. This is where I found my purpose, where I poured my heart into work that I truly believe made a difference, and where I was blessed with the best friends of my life. There are so many milestones I could point to… but what stays with me most are the moments in between. The everyday conversations, the challenges that stretched me, the obstacles that taught me perseverance, and even the tragedies that shaped who I am today. I’ve had a front-row seat to history—serving through six Presidents and witnessing moments I never could have imagined when I first arrived. But the real legacy for me will always be the people. Washington, DC—you have been a chapter full of purpose, grit, growth, and grace. I will carry you with me always. As I turn the page, I’m stepping toward a new season focused on impact in a different way—investing in people, leadership, and purpose. I’m excited for what’s ahead and grateful for everything that brought me here.

Betty O. liked thisBetty O. liked thisThis February, I celebrate 15 years at Symrise Pet Food. Looking back, this journey has been much more than a career path — it has been a true learning experience. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work with incredible people from different countries and cultures, visit several countries, and continuously grow both personally and professionally. I joined the company as a Marketing Analyst, and today I’m proud to serve as Sales Director for Latin America. This growth was only possible thanks to the trust, collaboration, and support of many colleagues along the way. One of the most valuable lessons I’ve learned is that teamwork is essential. No success is achieved alone. I’ve also learned the importance of being flexible and adaptable, as our market is constantly evolving and challenges us to change, learn, and improve every day. I’m grateful for the journey so far and excited about what’s still ahead. Thank you to everyone who has been part of these 15 years!
