Beth Brown (Blechman) liked thisI'll never understand why we can't argue for fair wages for various roles without bashing the wages another receives. Each job has things that make it hard or make it easy, that doesn't make one more "deserving" than the other. People rely on them the same to make livable wages. So instead of stating in an entitled way "I deserve this because this position that's beneath me makes this much", why can't we just build the value in what it is we actually do and present that as an argument for fair compensation? So many people look down on fast food workers and retail workers because they "aren't working real jobs". However, in my experience they are some of the hardest workers I've ever met.Beth Brown (Blechman) liked thisIT'S TRUE! As a nurse, I can attest that CNAs make or break the shift and patient experience. I will always advocate for higher pay, better benefits and way more respect. I started as a caregiver while I was in nursing school. It was hands down the hardest job I've ever had. Everyday is #cna #awareness #healthcarereform day in my book ❤️❣️💕
