Another update to make PowerPoint’s collaboration story even stronger: blue dots (aka “this has changed”) and reactions (“thumbs up/like”) are now supported in comments. Both seemingly simple changes have been instrumental in helping me work more productively with others on our presentations.
The more authors you have working on a presentation, or even the more “time complexity” you have with folks working shifted hours, the more important being able to quickly determine what has changed becomes. Blue dots to the rescue!
And not being able to like a comment? Arg. Do you remember when touch screens were starting to become common? Once you started automatically touching every screen, when you touched one and it didn’t respond, that was frustrating. Same when you couldn’t like a comment. But now that’s in the past!
Congrats
John Teichman and team for improving our collaboration story in PowerPoint.
