Aubree Dorr shared thisLast stop on the website tour, and I saved the best for last. 🎁 The Resources section of the DocStation website is genuinely one of my favorite things we've built. Everything here is free and available without a sales conversation attached to it. The guides library has practical, expert-written playbooks on medical billing, credentialing, and state-specific billing regulations. The demo library lets you explore the platform on your own time — no scheduling required. The Help Center is deep and searchable if you ever want to understand how something works under the hood. And the blog covers platform updates and real conversations happening in pharmacy right now. 📚 The goal has always been that a pharmacy should be able to learn a ton about medical billing from DocStation without ever spending a dollar. The resources section is the proof of that. If you've been curious and haven't known where to start — start here 👇 🔗 https://lnkd.in/gxqFyYGv #IndependentPharmacy #MedicalBilling #PharmacyTech #PharmacyBeyondPills

Aubree Dorr shared thisWe added something to the pricing page that I've wanted to build for a long time. 🎉 One of the most common questions we get from pharmacies is some version of "okay but what would this actually mean for MY pharmacy?" Fair question. The answer depends on your patient population, your Medicare Advantage mix, your vaccine volume — it's not one-size-fits-all. So we built a calculator. You plug in your numbers — patients per location, how many locations you run, your Medicare Advantage mix, what you typically bring in per vaccination — and it shows you a projected annual revenue figure from Medicare Advantage vaccinations alone. At default inputs (4,000 patients, 13% MA mix), it spits out $32,760/year. Adjust the sliders to match your pharmacy and your number changes in real time. 🎯 The thing I love about it from a product perspective is that it's built around a really honest framing: you're already giving these shots. This is just what you could be capturing from them. It's on the pricing page and takes about 10 seconds to run. Worth a look while you get ready to talk to us. 👇 🔗 docstation.co/pricing #IndependentPharmacy #MedicalBilling #PharmacyTech #VaccineBilling

Aubree Dorr reposted thisAubree Dorr reposted this💉 Flu season is the highest-volume billing opportunity of the year for most independent pharmacies. For pharmacies not yet billing vaccines to the medical benefit, it is real revenue left on the table every fall. DocStation is now an Authorized Vendor in the Independent Pharmacy Cooperative (IPC) Vendor Advantage Network — and the announcement was picked up by the Associated Press! 🤩 IPC is the nation's largest GPO for independent pharmacies, with over 2,000 GPO members and 7,000 warehouse customers. Their Vendor Advantage Network connects members with rigorously vetted tools that advance independent pharmacy success, and we're honored to be named among them. 💅 IPC member pharmacies now have a trusted, compliant path to start billing vaccines, DME, MTM, and E&M services to the medical benefit — with time to get configured before fall demand hits. 💪 ☑️ Bill vaccines to medical benefit and earn more ☑️ Supports DME, MTM, E&M, DSMES, and more ☑️ Get set up and submitting claims before flu season Part of the IPC network and ready to learn more? Aubree Dorr reposted thisAubree Dorr reposted thisWe've always believed that getting pharmacies paid for clinical services is a team effort. 🤝 So today we're officially introducing Friends of DocStation — a page dedicated to the organizations, networks, and service providers we work alongside to make that happen. CPESN Networks USA. American Pharmacists Association. National Community Pharmacists Association (NCPA). Vaccine Connect. R.J. Hedges & Associates. StreetCredRx. Pennsylvania Pharmacists Care Network. Provider CSAO. And more. These aren't just logos on a page. They're the networks connecting pharmacies to payer programs, the associations advocating for clinical recognition, the credentialing specialists getting pharmacies enrolled faster, and the compliance partners keeping everything above board. 📋 DocStation handles the platform. Our friends handle the rest of the ecosystem that makes billing actually work in the real world. If your organization works with independent pharmacies and you think we should be talking, there's a spot for you too 👇 🔗 docstation.co/friends #IndependentPharmacy #PharmacyTech #MedicalBilling #PharmacyCommunity

Aubree Dorr shared thisTbh, one of the things my experience could speak to the most when I joined DocStation was just how much clinical work pharmacists are doing that never turns into a claim. 👀 Consultations. Adherence reviews. Test-and-treat encounters. CGM placements. Real, billable clinical time — happening every day, going completely unpaid. Phase 2 of the provider journey is about changing that. Once a pharmacy has vaccine billing dialed in, the next move is capturing revenue from the clinical services they're already delivering. The work is already there. The billing infrastructure just hasn't caught up. From a product perspective, this is where things get interesting to build. We connect your dispensing workflow to your billing workflow so a CGM dispense can automatically be billed medically, or a targeted medication dispense can trigger a consult claim for your time. The goal is to remove the friction between "I did this" and "I got paid for it." 🎯 If you're past vaccines and wondering what's next — the Phase 2 section on our provider journey page is worth a look. (And if you totally missed Phase 1, go see my girl Rachael Matz's recent post. She's the best in the biz, y'all.) 🔗 https://lnkd.in/g7H9e3tE #MedicalBilling #PharmacyBeyondPills #IndependentPharmacy #PharmacyTech

Aubree Dorr reacted on thisAubree Dorr reacted on thisEveryone in the pharmacy is waiting for something to change… and I think it’s one of the biggest damn mistakes they can make. They’re waiting for PBMs to change, waiting for the government to step in, waiting for things to get easier, waiting for unicorns to appear...👇 I think that's exactly why most pharmacies stay stuck. Here's what I believe that a lot of owners need to hear: you CAN run a wildly profitable pharmacy right now, today, without permission from anyone. GASP After 20+ years and owning up to 7 pharmacies, here are my 10 rules of pharmacy profitability: 1 - Profit is NOT a four-letter word. ↳ Your community, your patients, and your employees are counting on you to make one. ↳ You are NOT evil for profiting by providing a great product and service. 2 - A fat inventory equals a skinny wallet. ↳ Every extra dollar sitting on your shelves is a dollar out of your bank account. ↳ If you're wondering where your cash went, go look at your shelves. 3 - Action equals profit. ↳ Profit will never manifest from hope alone. ↳ The only way to make more is to change your behavior, learn a new skill, or do more of what's working. 4 - Do what you have to do, then you can do what you want to do. ↳ New revenue streams are fun and sexy, but chase them first and your pharmacy stalls. ↳ Build the boring, strong foundation before you go after growth. 5 - A video a day keeps the bank account full. ↳ Trust with your community can be hacked through daily video posting. ↳ People reward authentic, educational, entertaining content with their business. 6 - Volume does not equal profit. ↳ Not all prescriptions are created equal. ↳ You cannot dig out of a negative-margin hole by filling more low-margin scripts. 7 - Addition by subtraction. ↳ Specializing in one area makes you the expert. ↳ Removing expenses is often the fastest way to increase profit. 8 - Patients will pay for what they WANT, not just what they need. ↳ Offer the products and services they actually want and you never have to sell. ↳ Where there's a will, there's a way. Carry what's highly desired. 9 - Your profit is hidden in your data. ↳ You have more data at your fingertips than you'll ever use. ↳ It will tell you exactly where you make and lose money. Stop flying blind. 10 - Create your profit lasagna. ↳ A badass pharmacy is built over time, one layer at a time. ↳ Try to start everything at once and you'll end up with a mess. I'll always want the industry to change for the better. But I refuse to sit around waiting for it. You don't need permission to start building a profitable pharmacy. You just need to know where to look first. Grab my free guide on the 5 causes of crappy pharmacy cash flow. It’s probably the fastest way to start putting money back in your pocket. Comment ‘GUIDE’ and I’ll share it in your DMs.

Aubree Dorr reacted on thisAubree Dorr reacted on thisOne week in as the fractional Chief Product Officer at WagePath, and I already know this was the right call. WagePath builds software for prevailing wage compliance and certified payroll, a corner of the market that is genuinely hard. The rules are dense, the stakes are high, and the teams doing this work deserve tools that make the work simpler, not scarier. That combination of real complexity and real impact is exactly what pulls me in. My first week confirmed it. I'll own the product roadmap, ship features hands-on, and help the team turn deep domain expertise into a product customers can rely on when the stakes are audits and back wages. I'm energized by what Coray Grove and the team have started, and I'm looking forward to building on it. If you work in construction payroll, government contracting, or compliance, I'd love to hear how you're thinking about this space. Always happy to trade notes. #PrevailingWage #CertifiedPayroll #ConstructionPayroll #GovCon #ProductManagement

Aubree Dorr reacted on thisAubree Dorr reacted on thisI never really though much about the concept of company values until I started running one. What I've realized is that as your company grows and you want people to be able to make decisions without you, it's important to have a set of values to keep in the back of your head as you come to decision making crossroads so we're trying out the first version of Out-Of-Pocket values which dictates how we think about the products, events, etc. that we put out into the world

Aubree Dorr reacted on thisAubree Dorr reacted on thisThe pandemic reminded the world what pharmacists can do for public health. But that was a starting point, not an endpoint. Yesterday, pharmacy leaders, manufacturing partners, and technology solutions came together to discuss how we can uplift ourselves, our profession, and the communities we serve because none of us can do this work alone. Community pharmacy has always been part of public health. Now is the time to build on it. #Collaborate #CommunityPharmacy #PublicHealth

Missouri Medicaid expansion is nearing a funding cliff few Missourians realize. The solution is straightforward: appropriate the expansion match in the base MO HealthNet budget, add automatic reporting and midyear review triggers if the federal match rate changes, and stop treating temporary reserves as permanent funding. These steps will ensure timely payments, predictable hospital funding, and continued access for rural Missourians. https://lnkd.in/g4nPn6jX
