Have you ever been curious about someone's life story?
Today, I'm doing something a little different. I'm sharing mine.
In a series called 'The Girl Who Lived Life Backwards", through my Instagram account @bypaigedworak, I'll be sharing the experiences, lessons, setbacks, victories, and defining moments that shaped the person I am today.
From growing up poor, becoming a teen mom, facing tragedy, adversity, trial and triumph, ultimately breaking the glass ceiling.
My stories are told in my true voice.
Why?
Because I want young women (and young men) to know that where you start does not determine where you finish.
Your circumstances do not define your potential.
Your challenges do not dictate your future.
The rules of modern society do not define who you are or what you become. YOU are in control of your destiny. No one else.
There were many times in my life when the odds seemed stacked against me. I became a mother as a teenager. I faced obstacles, doubts, and moments when the path forward wasn't clear. But I learned that success isn't reserved for people with perfect backgrounds, perfect timing, or perfect opportunities.
It belongs to those who refuse to quit.
Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of leading hospitals, serving communities, building businesses, and helping others navigate their own journeys. Yet the accomplishments I'm most proud of came from believing that my circumstances would not limit my future.
If there is one message I hope people take away from my story, it's this:
You can become whomever you choose to become.
Your current situation is simply a chapter... not the entire book.
If sharing my experiences helps even one person believe more in themselves, pursue a bigger dream, or overcome a challenge they thought was impossible, then it will be worth it.
I invite you to follow along at @bypaigedworak as I share the story behind the title, the lessons behind the successes, and the journey that made it all possible.
