Anirban BERA liked thisAnirban BERA liked thisEvery maritime nation is preparing for the next era of naval capability. The question is no longer if autonomous systems will transform maritime operations. The question is how they will redefine maritime capability. We were founded on a simple belief: maritime security will be shaped by those who can bring naval engineering, advanced composites, autonomy, AI, and systems thinking together — into platforms built for tomorrow, not yesterday. Around the world, maritime challenges are becoming more complex. - Longer coastlines to secure. - Critical underwater infrastructure to protect. - Distributed operations. - Persistent surveillance. - Smaller crews. - Faster decision cycles. These aren't solved by building bigger platforms. They're solved by building smarter ones. At MARITEAM, we believe the future belongs to intelligent, modular and mission-driven maritime systems designed from the ground up for the evolving operational environment. This is more than a technology bet. It's engineering with purpose: building sovereign capability, working alongside industry, academia, and strategic partners, and strengthening the maritime ecosystem we're part of. Over the coming months, we'll share our journey — from ideas and engineering challenges to design philosophies, emerging technologies, and our vision for the future of maritime autonomy. If naval innovation, autonomous systems, or the future of maritime technology is your world too — follow along, or reach out. We'd like to know you. The future of maritime capability will be shaped by those who dare to engineer differently. We're excited to begin that journey. #MARITEAM #NavalInnovation #MaritimeTechnology #AutonomousSystems #DefenceTechnology #MaritimeSecurity #AdvancedManufacturing #Engineering #FutureOfWarfare #MakeInIndia #AtmanirbharBharat

Anirban BERA liked thisAnirban BERA liked this𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺-𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰 𝗘𝗿𝗮 𝗜𝘀 𝗘𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 What if we've been measuring maritime capability the wrong way? For decades, naval platforms have been evaluated by metrics that remain fundamental: ✓ Speed ✓ Range ✓ Endurance ✓ Payload They always will be. But they may no longer be the metrics that define enduring operational advantage. Here's the paradox. We have never had more advanced maritime technologies. Yet integrating those technologies into lasting operational capability has never been more challenging. Why? Because platforms evolve over decades. Technology evolves in years. A naval platform commissioned today may remain in service for 30–40 years. The software, sensors, autonomy and AI it carries could evolve several times before its first major refit. That changes the engineering problem entirely. The challenge is no longer simply building a better platform. It is engineering a platform that can continuously become more capable. One that can integrate technologies that do not yet exist. One that can adapt to missions that have not yet been conceived. One that remains operationally relevant throughout its service life. Perhaps the defining advantage of tomorrow's fleet will not be the platform itself. It will be the architecture that allows capability to evolve. 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺. 𝗔𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆. This is why open architectures, digital engineering, modular mission systems and lifecycle thinking are becoming strategic imperatives rather than engineering preferences. Perhaps the more important question is no longer: "𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘯𝘦𝘹𝘵 𝘨𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘰𝘧 𝘯𝘢𝘷𝘢𝘭 𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘵𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘮𝘴 𝘭𝘰𝘰𝘬 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦?" For those involved in capability development, acquisition, naval architecture and fleet modernisation: 𝗗𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗲𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗮𝗹𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝘀𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗮 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺'𝘀 𝗮𝗱𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗼𝗿 𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝘀𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗮𝘆-𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰 𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗲𝘁? #MaritimeCapability #MARITEAM #NavalInnovation #DefenceTechnology #NavalArchitecture #AutonomousSystems #MaritimeSecurity #Engineering #Shipbuilding #MakeInIndia #AtmanirbharBharat #FutureTech Department of Defence Production Ministry of Defence Indian Navy Centre for Joint Warfare Studies (CENJOWS) hqids india

Steel hulls. Naval aviation. Guided weapons. Network-centric operations. Today, we are witnessing the next one. The challenge facing maritime engineering is no longer a shortage of technology. 𝘐𝘵 𝘪𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘨𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘦𝘤𝘩𝘯𝘰𝘭𝘰𝘨𝘪𝘦𝘴 𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘰 𝘰𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘳𝘦𝘭𝘦𝘷𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘤𝘢𝘱𝘢𝘣𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘺. Autonomous systems, artificial intelligence, advanced materials, digital engineering and resilient communications are advancing rapidly. The real question is no longer whether these technologies will shape maritime operations—but how they can be integrated to deliver capability that is adaptable, mission-centric and sustainable throughout its service life. 𝘛𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘥𝘦𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘴 𝘢 𝘥𝘪𝘧𝘧𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘦𝘯𝘨𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘥𝘴𝘦𝘵. Future maritime platforms cannot simply become more autonomous or more connected. They must be engineered from inception as integrated systems — where naval architecture, structures, propulsion, software, sensors and autonomy are considered as one design problem, not independent disciplines. Perhaps the defining advantage of future maritime capability will not be speed, range or payload alone. It will be the ability to evolve rapidly after entering service, integrate emerging technologies and remain operationally relevant in an increasingly dynamic security environment. This engineering challenge inspired the establishment of 𝗠𝗔𝗥𝗜𝗧𝗘𝗔𝗠 𝗡𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺𝘀. Our objective is to contribute to next-generation maritime capability through mission-centric design, advanced composites, digital engineering and autonomous systems — always with operational relevance as the guiding principle. Equally important, no single organisation will define this future. It will be shaped through collaboration between the Armed Forces, government, industry, academia and research institutions. This page will share perspectives on naval engineering, maritime autonomy, emerging technologies and the trends influencing the future of maritime capability — not to promote products, but to contribute to informed discussion. As maritime operations continue to evolve, which capability do you believe will have the greatest impact on naval effectiveness over the next decade? • Autonomous Systems • AI-Enabled Decision Support • Human–Machine Teaming • Advanced Materials • Or something else entirely? We look forward to your perspective. #MARITEAM #MaritimeCapability #NavalInnovation #DefenceTechnology #NavalArchitecture #AutonomousSystems #MaritimeSecurity #Engineering #Shipbuilding #MakeInIndia #AtmanirbharBharat

Investment activity in Indian healthcare ventures has reached new heights in 2025, highlighting a maturing and resilient ecosystem driven by technology, patient-centric innovation, and robust capital inflows. A Landmark Deal: Truemeds ₹744 Cr Series C. A standout moment from August was the ₹744 crore (about $89 million) Series C round raised by Mumbai-based Truemeds , a healthtech startup redefining affordable, tech-enabled pharmaceutical distribution in India. Truemeds ability to close such a late-stage round points to India’s readiness for digital health platforms capable of nationwide expansion. Capital Flows: The second quarter of 2025 recorded $3.5 billion in venture capital investment across 355 Indian startups, with healthtech among the most active sectors. Multiple data sources—Tracxn Sector Reports, KPMG India, and industry media—show continued appetite for seed and growth-stage deals, especially for solutions that address fundamental access, cost, and quality issues in Indian health. Notably, Policybazaar.com Health made headlines with a $218 million seed round, underlining the scale and ambition of current entrants. Sector Development: Hospital Digitalization and Outcome-Based Care This investment momentum is paralleled by significant sector advances. Indian hospitals are boosting their IT and innovation budgets by as much as 25% over the next three years, according to a recent EY survey. Beyond pilot projects, digital adoption is now shifting to practical, scalable solutions in data-driven decision-making, AI-enabled diagnostics, and virtual care pathways. Such innovation is being accelerated by government programs, including Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission ABDM and new privacy/data security legislation, which provide a regulatory backbone for ecosystem growth. Investor Signals and Ecosystem Trends: Healthtech is scaling: The size and maturity of recent deals demonstrate readiness for both aggressive expansion and future IPOs. Strategic and diverse capital: Corporate and strategic investors are now highly active, and both B2B and consumer-focused healthcare solutions are attracting capital. Digital shift: Hospitals, once slow to digitize, are now driving technology adoption, making India a test bed for new care models and patient engagement platforms. India’s healthtech market is now valued at over $25 billion—a figure set to double by the decade’s end. With recurring innovation in digital pharmacies, remote monitoring, and unified health records, the sector is bridging critical healthcare access gaps while offering outsized return profiles for forward-thinking investors. Today, India’s healthcare startup ecosystem stands as a magnet for global and domestic capital alike, reflecting not only resilience and growth but an underlying commitment to building solutions for a healthier, more equitable future.

India is losing too many early-stage healthtech startups to overseas markets, and the core reason is simple: we don’t yet have enough domestic capital or the supportive ecosystem these founders need to scale. If we want our entrepreneurs to build in India and for India, we must strengthen the foundations—from public procurement pathways to better testing infrastructure, faster approvals, and stronger supply chains. Capital alone won’t solve it; capability will. And to every healthtech founder I meet, I say this with emphasis: deep science and deeptech are powerful, but they cannot stand without a solid understanding of finance and business. Innovation becomes valuable only when it is viable. We need more entrepreneurs who can blend scientific excellence with commercial clarity. When we bridge that gap, India won’t just retain its healthtech talent, it will lead. #Healthtech #StartupEcosystem #InnovationInIndia #DeepTech #Entrepreneurship #BuildForIndia #ScaleInIndia
