Andy Ruberg liked thisAndy Ruberg liked thisWhat an incredible way to kick off FY27! It was amazing to be back at Start this week, experiencing the energy and ambition that make Microsoft so special. I had the privilege of leading our SME&C Security session, as well as joining all three global time zones to share our FY27 Security strategy. The opportunity ahead of us is tremendous, and what excites me most is the commitment across our teams to help customers stay secure while embracing the power of AI. As Start comes to a close, I'm also taking the next two months to recharge and enjoy my sabbatical. I'm incredibly grateful for the opportunity to step away, reflect, spend time with family and friends, and return in September with fresh energy and perspective. Thank you to everyone who made Start such a success, and to the entire Security organization for the momentum you're creating every day. This week reinforced just how much we have accomplished together—and how much opportunity still lies ahead. I can't wait to see what you'll achieve over the next few months, and I'm excited to rejoin the journey this fall. Here's to an amazing FY27 ahead! Andrew Krasner, Chief Financial Officer at WTW, demonstrates the organizational impact and value of accelerating data insights. Working with Microsoft's cloud and AI capabilities, WTW is better connecting information across the business, improving forecasting, and enhancing team collaboration. This helps Finance shift its focus from manual work to deeper analysis and partnership. What stands out is the approach. WTW operates with the scale and reliability of a global platform while retaining the ability to design and build in ways that fit their business. Ultimately, the biggest impact of AI in Finance won’t be measured by the number of tasks it automates, but by the quality and timeliness of its data-driven decisions. I've been fortunate to work alongside some of the best operators in the industry, who taught me the art of operating at scale, the importance of partnerships, and the power of the platform. I'll carry all of it into this next chapter. The pace of AI progress and adoption is accelerating, which makes building this technology responsibly — with safety as the core principle — more urgent than ever. Anthropic is betting that the most capable AI and the most carefully built AI can be one and the same. I'm energized to help build the go-to-market engine behind that bet, alongside a team that's as talented as it is serious about the mission.

Andy Ruberg liked thisAndy Ruberg liked this“How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard.” Nearly thirty-five years ago as a young professional in Argentina, I held a dream, that dream became reality in 1992 when I joined Microsoft as a Technical Manager. I never imagined the journey would span more than half of my life. As I prepare to leave Microsoft and enter my next chapter, the feeling that stands above all others is gratitude. When I look back, it is not the technologies, products, or milestones that come to mind first. It is the people. The people who taught me, challenged me, trusted me, and inspired me -- the people who became colleagues, mentors, and lifelong friends. These connections are a career journey’s most enduring and treasured gift. Our lives are shaped by the people we meet and the relationships we build. Every person I had the privilege to work with left a mark on me -- through lessons, perspectives, challenges, and encouragement. The people whose paths I crossed helped shape who I am today. I leave Microsoft with a deep sense of appreciation and energy for what comes next. "Todo final es un comienzo." Every ending contains the beginning of something new. I look ahead with excitement -- to continue learning, growing, connecting, and discovering new ways to contribute. The mountains may change, but the journey of growth continues. SO as I get ready for my next mountain: Stay curious. Keep learning. Be bold. And have fun.
